My last device before switching to bb9900 was galaxy note 2 with 4.1 jelly bean update. The major problem with android is lagging and quality software (you can never guarantee anything you download won't freeze the device and formate your memory card as it did happen to me). Right now I'm using the bb9900 only because I need a reliable e-mail service and I'm waiting for the Nokia lumia 920
Joan, 14 Nov 2012Why blackberry ran out of phones?
No good phone released since long.

Although rim is trying to catch up with the competition it's delay is only justified by making sure that their product is bugs and scratches free ;)
Anonymous, 20 Nov 2012neep some help, buy this bold 9900 or torch 2 9810?? and whyDepends on you preferences. The slide can sometimes become annoying and if there's a lot of dust where you live the slide will become less smooth. They're both the same in a lot of ways as you can see if you compare them both (http://www.gsmarena.com/compar...Phone2=3723)
A big benefit of the 9900 is it's AMAZING keyboard! I'll recommend it just because of the keyboard, every review video I've watched and every person who has this phone tells you that it's the best they've ever typed. Try it out for yourself at shops that allow you to test phones before buying.
Hope it helps :)

i love the phone, but the battery life sucks big time. you have to charge it everyday. i've only had it for 4 days and already disappointed.
Bought the phone 7 months back and already the phone is in for repairs, thought I got the best 1 but it seems like BB just keeps on disapointing their clients.
am living in houston texas and i couldn't be able to get bold touch 9900 and 9850 in my area,,please i would like to purchase two blackberry,,me and my fiance..kindly get me a location to get it in texas or specifically houston or where to order for it?.thanks
My BB has frozen after playing music....happened twice, changed handset from shop and same thing happens again! NOT impressed! Returned back for refund! Grrrrrrr.....
Joce, 13 Nov 2012Does it have the habit of freezing or is it me? This phone loves to freeze
I have been using it for quite sometime now, and its definitely an awesome phone, Blackberry at its best, but one thing which spoils the user experience is BATTERY, it sucks big time. Can't even use it through the day, drains out very quickly even on average use of applicarions. I have been using BBM, 2 email ids, FB and FB messenger, Gtalk, whatsapp, through the day, and the result is mentioned above. I got to carry a spare battery it seems if want to run through the day late without getting it recharged.

Cut a name card the size of the battery, stick it onto the battery. That will tighten up the cover when you close it and hopefully stop the restarting problem. cheers
Why blackberry ran out of phones?
No good phone released since long.
I think they forgot how to make phones.
I still admit that Bold 9900 is the best of all phones for use but the only problem is the battery + less apps as compared to iphone, windows, android and even symbian.
Hope they do something about it, specially the battery, we can live without apps but not battery.
