I hope Blackberry can release the Classic and Passport sooner. People are desperately waiting for these phones. With these two pure BB phones they are on, way back.
Now this is what I'm talking about, A fusion of modern with classic, can't wait till it hits the market. Just a word of advise guys.... Change is good but its better to keep the roots in place BLACKBERRY was all about easy functionality and the ROLLER/OPTICAL sensor was a revolution that made it possible bringing this piece back will bring back a lot of OLD users back in the BB circle again.
Great work guys !!! Keep it up.
I wonder whether this phone will solve some of the issues with q10 that I have.. lots of useful apps like waze, and others isn't compatible currently with q10 due to its screen size.. for some android based apps.. if u used it in q10 u will not be able to see the full display of the apps.. compared to z10.. I hope this won't be. Aproblem anymore
what is ram, battery & internal memory size.
Pls. confirm....i want to buy this handset.
this phone are gonna be really awesome, i really excited for this

Cicero86, 20 Jul 2014Well I was talking like that because I was wishing for bb to dominate the market once again, b... moreAt work I have seen a people who only come up with problems in existing system, but when ask about solution they draw a blank. Yes, I understand where you are coming from - sorry you felt that I am mocking you. Just having a fun moment. I apologize.
Anyway, there is excitement about BlackBerry Classic, and more about Passport. I think ever since the failure of Z10, BlackBerry has learned some lessons and they included FM radio in every device thereafter. My perception is that FM radio is a waste, and that is why I thought it is funny that you predicted BlackBerry's demise if there is no FM in a device. But, on an afterthought I see that it could be an important feature for a lot of people.
Remesh, 18 Jul 2014..Yes. And if BlackBerry does not include a sub-machine gun also , their Headquarters will ... moreWell I was talking like that because I was wishing for bb to dominate the market once again, believe me ergonomics do make a difference. But as long as market domination is not the aim, then mock on as much as you like...let me mock more on ur behalf, "and aliens will attack earth! And we're all gonna diiieee!" See you when the device is released..
Please let this phone not be a micro sim phone.........let the sim be mini..............
Cicero86, 17 Jul 2014more space for the trackpad. and add radio FM. otherwise you're destroying your future...Yes.
And if BlackBerry does not include a sub-machine gun also , their Headquarters will be swallowed by earth, including their entire staff and their whole families.
more space for the trackpad. and add radio FM. otherwise you're destroying your future.
Ali, 12 Jul 2014BlackBerry its DEAD.Amazing that you typed this much. Keep typing the same slogan for years to come.
I am not waiting these both new products of BlackBerry, classic & passport, very long wait, but BlackBerry disappointed me, not good design phone, they should launch not BlackBerry q40 and z20 slide phone
6JBH, 12 Jul 2014Starting out with BB10.1 there is no radio as with other BB10 devices, however after a device... moreDo you mean updating from 10.1 to higher or what?
I'm still trying to encourage BlackBerry to compete better, add all you can add, no time for playing with features here.."adding this but missing that" that type of thinking is not good for their phase now..you know what I'm saying?
I hope they get it because it's very known, the competition is really hard. others add better cameras with crazy 40ish pixels. and add more highly-integrated software with consumer brands software (for example with instagram, a few months ago finally we heard of "some" integration of it, blackgram or whatever that is)
and well, if we still are "coping" with the software hype. then at least let's provide a "complete" phone features to satisfy the individual customer. I just hope you get my point because I've been talking about this almost everywhere in the communities and I hope BlackBerry gets my message..
