This phone is a great entry-level blackberry.overall, I am very satisfied with it, and intend on using it as my primary phone for the next two years.
The camera takes great looking pictures for a phone, and the keyboard is to die for!
It does everything from getting on the internet to playing music. The battery life is great as well.
I do have a few complaints, however.
At the beginning of this article, I mentioned that this is an 'entry-level' blackberry. There is a reason behind it.
First off, it takes too much time to install an application.
I used to own a windows mobile based phone (the apache 6700), and it did not take nearly as long to install an application.
Sometimes, the phone does lock up, and requires you to take out the battery. Seven minutes to start back up? Its a bit ridiculous.
I give this phone a rating of seven, just because of the few things that are irritating.
Below are the ratings I give to the features:
Overall usability: 7
Ease of use: 7
Quick installation of apps: 5
Speed: 7
Screen: 8
Call quality: 9
Note: I have the curve operating with t-mobile

> In reply to Mayank @ 2009-10-05 12:38 from wdRuyo this phone is really good.i hav had mine for like 7 months. The call quality is really nice and the connection manager is really usefull. it seem that you need the data plan to use the messenger apps and programs like that.the wifi is nice as its cool.I jus found out that at first you cant use the messenger program using wifi but the 8320 version can.what i read is that a person took the data plan and then took it off but ever time he gets connect to wireless service he gets emails and messages. so it would seem like you have to activate the data plan then stop it from your company and you can now use the programs wit wifi.great eh so this phone is really awesome now. good luck make the right decision.

The Phone is Very good and does almost everthing right. But then There is a down side to this model i think 8310 is a better by secially if you not planning to go in for blackberry service and plan to use the internet over the air ( GPRS) since this model has Wifi if would limt you use of the internet and u would need to have the blackberry service inorder to get full access i relized it once i got the phone. I have Vodaphone internet access which i could use for the internet usage over my 9300 Nokia but that did nto work with 8320 so i have to go in for blackberry services.

Rest the phone rocks
