Yeah, it's to make it easier to spell names like Fritz, Hanz and Larz. Makes good sense.

Id say having a fixed keyboard is way better than having a touch screen if you actually want to use the device to write emails! I upgraded from the 8310 curve to the storm and have been disapointed so will be waiting for this to come out.
Does anyone know if this will be available on voda in the UK?

Does anyone know if the 8900 records video? My 8320 Curve doesn't support that feature so i had to download an app to get a very basic one going.

well it does not have 3g, but there is a new technology they have been testing in russia and other places around the world called HSCDA converts signal to 4x the speed of edge. This technology is included in the Blackberry 8900 Javelin. I really think this is going to be a great phone and serious hit I am willing to bet its going to be more popular than the bold even though I am a bold owner and soon a 8900 owner maybe next week heheh!
