> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-07-24 14:50 from 4q}L - click to readThat's the web browser...you can't unless your allowed to remove the data plan from your package. T-mobile used to be the only company that would allow you to get a voice only plan. Not anymore though, unless you have an old plan. If you bought a new BB in the last few weeks you have to add the data and Keep the data for 2 years to get the discounted promo price. If you got a flex pay month to month plan than you wouldnt, however you paid full price on a month to month plan. $499 compared to $149 on a 2 year with Req Plan.

> In reply to Melannie @ 2009-07-23 17:13 from uH@J - click to readUse a nice bluetooth speaker set or head-set..And/or get a home router from T-mobile for $39 and only $10 a month. Use the router for your home phone and get unlimited calling, add $5 for international discount calling. Now here's the key..add $10 more for wi-fi hot spot @ home calling. Clear calls thru your the router, you can take the router to friends houses to and plug in. it's only $20 a month for wi-fi calling and unlimited home calling. Must have existing internet.

> In reply to SIPS @ 2009-07-24 20:39 from fuHP - click to readtry registering on friends computer and see if same thing happens...I would contact GarMAp and see if it mite be a proprietary sync with a competitor such as apple or HTC and not (RIM/Blackberry). Also, you can bring the phone into a retail T-mobile store, buy a $10 pre-paid sim card and jump unto the web..check that way to see if it's your carrier, (if it's not T-mobile)...Good Luck!

I've only had the phone for two months and registered succesfully with Garmap Mobile, but for some reason when i go onto the www.garmapformobile.com webpage - it says my login is incorrect, whereas it's exactly the details that were confirmed to me upon registration. Is this a carrier issue or the manufacturer's. Please advise as to how i could sort this out ...

> In reply to Gaby @ 2009-07-07 14:50 from SatW - click to readThe only way to change your ring length is to call your carrier (mine is tmobile) and have them manually reset it. it was easy. i had them set mine to maximum of 30 seconds before voicemail kicks in.

Hi all, I was using nokia E71for 6 mnths before getting this phone. Works great for me n better keypad too, BUT the reception is really bad. When I used my e71 in my room, reception is just perfect!! No problem at all. But when it comes to my bb javelin.. It's killing me! SOS most of e time.. Sometimes 1 bar only! When my friends call me, they can't seem to hear what I'm saying.

I changed e phone with another brand new set.. Reception is better altho its still bad. My roommate using samsung soul never finds reception as a problem, but mine the problem comes back after a while. SOS again..!! Sigh..
Even when I'm in a good reception, friends sometimes still can't hear me well.. Always ask me back few times!

I wonder what's wrong with the phone.. Anybody has e same problem like mine?

I love this phone but e reception problem is really bugging me! There's no point of having a phone that doesn't really function like a phone during call time.

P.s: friends can hear me well if I am using earpiece tho..!
