To receive a file though you must go into that folder where its gonna be stored: eg if someone is sending you a photo, you must be in the "photo" folder, etc etc etc.
Then click the menu and click on "receive file via bluetooth" - it will then activate the bluetooth properly and the person can then send the file through to you.

Is it true that for blackberry phones, bluetooth will only work if it's blackberry - blackberry only?

hi,i just had this phone for less than 2 months and im very upset with the trackball navigator bcoz it is not working properly now.. What shall i do with this? is anybody you can recommend for the repair of this?

I have this phone and an iphone 3gs and i can tell u guys the 8900's battery life is much better! people say the battery sucks but i seem to be able to use the bb (calls,browsing, music, video pics etc) for two days without a charge. the fone just keeps on going even when its beeping in the red! can't say that bout the iphone 3gs though.
ps close apps as that cains the batt life

Hey, I am a student that can't decided whether it is practical to buy this phone (450) unlocked. I wantd to know if you could use UMA without signing up for a plan including it. Also do you need to have a data plan to use the GPS features?

hi guys. just need to know. since this BlackBerry model have WLAN capabilities. do you guys think that BlackBerry would allow VoIP in their mobile phones? need your response badly. need to make a report to our clients. many thanks.

@VJ.. That's not RIM fault, that's u can't use your BB..

Browse over WiFi u must switch preferref mode on browser options.. WiFi didn't work? Well I use WiFi at may campus and that's working.. So it's maybe u didn't know how to connect it to the AP..

E-mail didin't work over WiFi? This is BB, it's have exclusive BIS so why must use WiFi for email?? BB have it's power in email..

For those who have problems with the battery life read here: http://supportforums.blackberr...hread.id=674 Seems like putting your Blackberry in the pouch will make the battery drain quickly. Very interesting! Please leave feedback after you try the experience.
