It clears processes done at the background even though your not using that app. But it does not close the app itself. So the phone's processor can rest. I think thats how it saves battery life.
How can i copy phone contact to Sim Contact?
Get E72 instead if you want to combine business with a little entertainment.
I would like to ask how do i get the GPS work for the 8900? And where can i get the Blackberry Map?
Thanks

I save my battery life by enabling memory clean up during screen locks. Its under the security options. It saved my battery by atleast 40%.

Javelin 8900 keypad is better than bBld 9000...still expensive in Middle East at this time....waaaaahhhh
Phone is absolutely brilliant i have to say!
Only 1 problem and it seems to be a recurring thing=the battery life is awful and nowhere near what the spec says. My battery is dead in under a day and i'm not even using it that much, i'm scared to if i am out cos i don't wanna kill the battery life by using anyway!!!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Other than that - spot on phone! :-D
Got my phone yesterday, is freaken awesome.
One question though... I am trying to install Desktop software for my curve 8900 but am not successful. I keep getting a message which says something about trying to find some device_switch.dll.
Please advise if you can assist.
