My BB9220 doesn't hanged/frozed at all,btw I'm not a heavy user, mine serves me only as my back up phone to my HTC Sen XE:-)
Hey, i'm just wondering if your 9220 always hanging? Mine does. I dont know if it was just factory defect or I did something wrong. What makes it hang? I have to remove the battery so I can use it again. Help me please.

RIM. Please change basic OS to this phone.
it have BUG on playing music using earphone
If you people have a trouble when playing music or radio using headset, upgrade this phone to OS 126.96.36.1998 ( basic OS 188.8.131.527 )
64 apps?Got to be kidding?Right? Please give me 20 usable apps you're using in daily basis..I'm just curious:)
Got my back up phone for my Smart plan HTC Sen XE,my new BB9220 last Wednesday from Globe San Lazaro at UNLIPLAN P599 and P99 BBM plus P2,400 cash out, hope they activate my sim today:-)
very nice phone. im a new bb user, but this seems to be a user friendly to me. but this phone must have a flash to beat the 8520. so far so good, its a good basic phone for blackberry. very elegant slim phone for qwerty. you will like it. 9300 and 8520 is bulky.
i will apply for a plan and i will get this phone for free/ weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
No much improvement from 8520, as it runs EDGE not 3G like 9300. 8520 & 8520 are pretty much slow esp wen running multi app cocurrently.
Even tho RIM wanted to push anada low-end phone targeting students & low class income earners. 9300 was on the right track with RAM & OS improvement to 7.1 (to include radio) 9310/20 was gonna be the cash cow on low class income earners.
jtzll, 19 Jun 2012if you like multitasking then why do you use the bb? because it's one of the slowest phones I ... moreAnd by the way, do you really use all of the 64 apps in a daily basis? specially to your work?
just curious :)
jtzll, 19 Jun 2012if you like multitasking then why do you use the bb? because it's one of the slowest phones I ... moreI'm not sure what you did to your phone, but my 8520 is not slow and it's doens't froze, though I only have a few apps installed which is useful to my work, specially the callendar which reminds me of all my appointmens in a day or a week and so on.
I like the way blackberry do multitasking, by pressing and holding the BB menu for a couple of seconds and switch to other apps that's it.
Since I am a heave email and texter I usually charge my BB 3x a day but its not a problem to me since I have a spare battery just incase I have to work outside the office.
Iphone is a good communication device too, but it's just me, seems that iphone is not for me.
Mojacko, 19 Jun 2012Yes, My friends 9220 can do BBM, receiving and sending emails, plays music, send sms, FB and... moreif you like multitasking then why do you use the bb? because it's one of the slowest phones I have ever used. I had an 8520 which I upgraded to 9300 and they both froze a lot so I got an Iphone and what do you know, no more freezing even when I have all and I mean All my apps running in the background, and that's about 64 of them so yeah. bb sucks when it comes to multitusking
