How is the working of the touchscreen as keypad? Usually i use a bb with the normal keypad

i bought my 9380 last march and its pretty good,,the battery life is averagenot bad the design is slick and i drop it 5 times already and its still in one piece no damage at all.

The battery performance is better even when the BB service is on. It is far better than andriod phones whose battery last for only a day.

sir i had purchased this handset on 6th may. The battery drains within 5 hrs while use or not .... even when the phone is in idle position battery drains . while charging or even we are not charging battery heats ..... sir plzz solve my problem ........

Seems like a good phone! I don't do chat; I already hav an I-pod; and I've got my own digital camera! All i need from this phone is BIS!! (I download lots of music) I'M GETTIN ONE SOON!

Got one for bout 3 weeks now. Also got a samsung galaxy s. The screen is ancient compared to the much older samsung's super amoled. The auto rotation is annoying. Once you had android the bb OS just seems so dull and boring. The phone is slow all round. I like the sexy look of the phone though and the cheap internet.

People confused between Curve 9380 and Torch 9860 ..... Here is a tip, Torch has better processor, better RAM, better features..... BUT, the battery power of the Curve and the Torch is the same (1230 mAh) .... So the curve is Definitely going to give a better Battery experience.

The BB 9380 is a GOOD smartphone , Just purchased it yesterday for RS 15500 in Mumbai.
The camera is good and the sound is average
BB are business phones so one can expect the best security and email sync. however its not a gaming phone, if you want to play angrybirds buy a droid.
The new BB OS 7 is a beauty have used both the Os4.8 and OS 5 but the OS 7 is awesome with a new look and a few more full blown punches.
The 9380 is super light, it feels like holding a leaf and that is far better than the storm 9530 i currently own...
