Awesome pcs of hardware.but I think now BlackBerry should start using android os with added BlackBerry features.or it will struggle and will be big failure like nokia.
In my opinion one should change before failure.

Dear BlackBerry authorities, please think about the re pricing of BlackBerry passport in india, when your BlackBerry Z10 released it was cost around 43k.you have seen the result. please lunch the product as more people budget friendly will help BlackBerry to regain his supremacy.
I was so happy to hear about the specification and price when they announced it on Canada Event . Was expecting the same price tag in India... But was so upset when they launched in India at 50 k ..Though the BB OS and the specification of the phone are excellent people may simply aviod the phone for its price tag....
Have to wait for BB Classic launch ..

I am itching to get the new Passport. O2 aren't contracting with it, and Selfridges and the BB website have sold out. How disappointing. I shall stick with my BBQ10 but I hope I will be able to get my hands on this stunning looking new phone.

Blackberry should have worked on prices for Indian customers. for USA it is $600 and for India Rupees 50 K.
Very disappointing :(
I am happy with my Z10 and not upgrading my phone

Anonymous9, 29 Sep 2014Blackberry OS Version 1.0 for Pager BlackBerry 850; January 1999. Blackberry OS came from 1999... moreGood bit of googling, except for a fairly important thing: BB10 is not BBOS, it's based on QNX and the code base which was created from scratch for the PlayBook, making it by far the newest. (before you argue the age of QNX, Linux and OpenBSD are the equivalents on Android and iOS there)
Hope that clears it up a bit :)
goepta, 29 Sep 2014This is actually an interesting phone! Finally Blackberry made something good. The specs. are ... moreThe price is not too high. It is merely high. For the build quality, fluid OS, specifications and features offered by BlackBerry passport does not come free.
If cheap price is the only requirement of an individual to select a phone, why not go for Firefox phone? Will you be happy with that?
THe same too costly argument popped up for Jolla phone too. It is around 270 USD. Now what do these "twooh kowstly" gang wants? All mobile phones free?
PS: Hey, is this comment the beginning of a Mark Antony speech?
