It has multiple alarms if needed with their own settings. And also quick glance on lock screen which surpasses any other on the market today. Q10 is a nice phone also but the passport looks incredible.

Even their ... moreWhat you blackberry negative posters don't understand is the way blackberry phones work and function. They are not made for spending countless hours on media sites and watching movies. These phones destroy the competitions with better logistics and functionalities. The times it would take me to just read and open an email on iphones and androids I have sent, read, and organized my business dealings. If you would actually use a blackberry a newer one, you would most likely enjoy the experience. Blackberry offers me a secure infrastructure and security based software already built in that nothing else comes close. Unfortunately today's market consumer base is built on watching movies, playing games, and multimedia which turns into a competition for the best screen processors and so on. Not being built for functionality and production like cell phones used to be.
Since in usin blackberry from 2008 started with javellin, then to curve and now using a bold 4, and a z10 the battery of z10 is bit poor, however m eagerly waiting for the new creation of our great blackberry passport.. think price should be competitive..
Plzz release ur blackberry passport below 20k or else u will nt b able to compete in the market against other competitors....
The results speak for themselves - BlackBerry 10 users would like a dual SIM device

We dual sim variant of this phone... but only God knows why Blackberry hasn't come out with one yet. I live in Nigeria and the best bet on any phone in this part of the world is a dual sim phone.
Looking forward to seeing A BLACKBERRY PASSPORT IN DUAL SIM.
I started using BB in 2010...now i'm using BB9900 (touch and type)... so far i have not encountered any problem except that the batteries drains fast...i look forward to using BB Passport, and hopes that the battery issue too has been resolved. Thanks.
I love this phone. I am sure Blackberry is about to take over the leadership in the smart phone world once again. Passport is the great innovation of Blackberry.
I used 8520,Now Q5, next waiting for Passport
I've never used a blackberry before and by all accounts this phone looks like the best of all of them. It looks tempting. Currently I use the Nokia 1520 and I thoroughly enjoy it. The questions I have are the following:
1. Can you set more than one alarm for the day using the current update?
2. Does blackberry have something similar to glance screen viewing time while the phone is in lock screen?
Good phone. All Blackberries over time have battery problem. I do hope this would be an exception.
When will arrive to colombia!!! Here there are just Chinese brands with same specs...
When will this be avalaible to buy and if it will be unlocked?
Can someone share videos please on how the Android Apps looks on this...
Anjum, 28 Aug 2014Since Blackberry's phone division is already in hot waters, they shouldn't keep huge margins o... moreThey should price it reasonably more so at this moment that the competition in the phone industry is becoming stiffer and stiffer by day.
We have one in our office, the build is sturdy and I'm really amazed by its performance, very fast and responsive, it's one of the best in all the mobile devices that we have so far, the square shape actually is very good for reading/viewing documents.
Have to say BB did a great job for this one.
If I wasn't bit badly by the worst BB (Storm) 5 years ago, I probably would buy the passport with no questions.
But anyway it seriously has become one of my options. My other options are OPO and MI4 or Nexus 6.
P.S. we are a mobile app company and have all kinds of mobile devices from the oldest to the most latest.
The casing is stainless steel. The back is composed of a very durable porcelain-like material, very grippy. Screen is the clearest of any phone I have tested, excellent anti-reflection. Very bright. Back camera supports 4K video recording. 720p at 120fps and 1080p at 60fps, 4K support will be added with OS 10.3.1. Battery lasted me 22 hours, HEAVY duty use. (Downloaded movies the entire day). GPU is clocked at 450mhz and RAM is 800mhz. The unit I am testing is actually clocked at 2.15mhz. They finally added proper screen protection. Does support panorama and plays every android app I throw at it as if it was natively coded. (about 90%) OS 10.3 has an equaliser (lol, finally). Connections not already named is Display Port 1.2. HTML scores are higher than any other browser. The device is highly optimised providing flawless performance. Stand out features: Screen - Design materials - Keyboard - Browser - Sound volume and quality (loudest and clearest of any "phablet" which I would call it, or smartphone. 2 stereo speakers and 4 microphones. High definition audio processing and is equiped with "dual" antennas which provides excellent reception. Oh yes, SD card support is 128GB and it looks wayyyy better in-person. Feels slightly heavy/solid but it is because of the metal casing and build materials. The white and black versions are made of different materials, I would suggest you go for black as it looks/feels better. Hope this helps to clear up any loose ends.
