Looks like the culprit was the Mobile Network setting. You just need to turn "OFF" the Data Services and leave the Mobile Network "ON"
Hey guys, should I buy the passport or the Q10, I really dont know.
Things to consider:
Keyboard (which do you think is faster)
Screen (is the Q10's screen big enough for very simple gaming, some web browsing and some simple videos?)
Battery (is the Passport's non-removeable battery very bad. Does the passport's battery spoil easily even when taken care of and whether there is any way to dismantle the phone myself and I trust my skills and replace it)
Thanks if you can help, price is also a big consideration. Is the Passport's price able to drop below 400usd by the start of next year?
Jay Mac, 22 Mar 2015I want to highlight one thing i have notice about the Blackberry Passport, and it is the fact ... moreOnline shopping works as well (considering shipping fee and handling snd whether the seller is reliable).
I advice you should also factory reset the phone, Blackberry have been known for secruity, but it is still possible for powerful hackers to install virus on your phone which is crapping it up. Remember to backup first if you want to factory/hard reset.
I have been using the BB Passport since Nov.2014.It was working fine till about 10days back, when it started to heat up with rapid discharge of battery power, also the mobile data consumption has become very high, about 1 GB in 2-3 days, though I have not downloaded anything of that size. The battery problem remains even if I keep the phone on Flight mode.I contacted blackberry support, and was suggested for a reload of the software, which I am doing today, hope the software reload helps, otherwise I have to go for a newphone.

Display: Passport. Better resolution and PPI
Camera: Perhaps iPhone. Although the camera on the Passport is no slouch.
Battery: Passport all the way.
OS: That's always subjective, but I say that the Passport has the better OS. BB10 is more powerful, versatile and intuitive.
I want to highlight one thing i have notice about the Blackberry Passport, and it is the fact that its the hardest Phone find places to buy it in Australia.
Till last Friday Optus in Queens St Mall Brisbane is the only place i have found in Australia that can stock it, but only for special orders.
Perfect phone, the best in the universe. The only disadvantage is tha you can not type with one hand. For that reason I also have Classic: I use Classic for call in the car, otherwise I use Paassport.
I have used Nokia brand since 1997, now is the first time I change brand for BlackBerry, for ONE and good reason: BB Passport is the best phone I ever seen on the market. I don't comment about price, is about features, OS stability, apps interactions and all OS features. I'm business man and this phone is tailor made for a business expectations.
I have it since 4 months now and definitely no complaints.
As many of you appreciate the QWERTY keyboard, for me is a must to have in every phone for the ease to use and no failure.
Finally I strongly recommend for business, this is not a toy for selfies :)
If want to have a realistic opinion about the BB Passport just let me know by answering on my post.
in between, iphone6+, Blackberry passport, which is best among these in camera, disply, battery, os ? price doesn't matter!

Pls. could anyone tell me whether it is possible to use the AT &T version of Blackberry passport outside the US?
UDI, 08 Mar 2015BlackBerry , immediately need to release duel sim phones. But why you only use one network per given time. Dual sim is not professional neither inventive. Blackberry is professional and inventive.she must not copy useless stuff
I have Black berry Passport bought last week. All facilities are available in this handset and I love it. Only inconvenience the size to hold while talking and to carry safely. No belt pouch is available. This is the only model having such a big size.
