i have had a blackberry pearl since february of this year and have not found it the best phone in the world. i have had to have it replaced 3 times and each time it was replaced i had the same problem. i am not the only one to have had problems with it, several of my friends have had many problems with it too.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-07-14 18:46 from 4mDX - click to read64MB? My Pearl (T-Mobile 8120) reads 54MB of total memory ( options > status....File Total:54132736). So isn't in 54mb and not 64?

I love my T-Mobile Blackberry Pearl 8120, but I hate the fact that it only has 54MB of device memory. That puts a huge limit on the amount of apps you can install. Yeah, I can buy a memory card and I did (4 gig), but you can't install apps and themes because the dvice would read it. I mean come on RIM, you should have made the Blackberry's with 100MB or more of device memory. I know the new Bold has 1 gig of device memory and that's great, but all the upgraded models in the future should have at least 1 gig. Even the new Curve doesn't even have 100MB, I think it has something like 96MB???

It is very surprising that Blackberry seem intent on selling expensive devices without 3G. Is due to the North American market which still does not have an extensive network? I would surprised if anyone in Europe would consider spending over £200 on a device without this facility in 2008.

Hey this phone is a really awesome phone the music player is as loud as any other kind of phone. The features it can do is really good. I have my T-Mobile sim card the features from T-Mobile go great with the phone. So much to talk about it its just an overall really good phone!
