To answer the call log question, it depends on whether you have a Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) you connect to or not. BES servers can keep a log of the call as well as the call duration indefinitely. In fact, the call logs can be set to remain even if you change to different Blackberry devices. It all depends on what your administrator has set as a setting for your user profile. If you are using this from work, ask your IT department regarding this.

Without BES, you may have used a carrier-handled server for push email and in that case you would have to talk to your carrier for this information.

Without a Blackberry data plan, the phone uses internal memory for these logs and it will be limited by the amount of free memory you have. Call logs take up very little space, so I would imagine it would be practically limitless.

Hi everyone. I'm so dissappointed with what i paid for. the Blackberry 8120 is not a phone for busineseman, but for kid. to me it looks like a $10 phone that i bought for my nephew. i don understand how the RIM make those kind of phone. if i were the businessman and using the blackberry 8120, i would be ashame.

The call quality on this phone is not good especially when the earpiece volume is turned up to maximum volume.There seems to be a resonating or vibrating noise.
I have tested two different handset's and they both sound the same.
Ask to try one before you buy.

To whoever said the Nokia N73 thing, I upgraded mine to an N95 8GB and will upgrade this to the N96. DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR N73 UNTIL THE N96 COMES OUT!

p.s. you can't edit word/ exel you can't view Youtube. You've only got 40 odd applications to download. This is not a business tool, it's an e-mail jockey. Whoooppp-de-do!!! Is that all anyone really wants from life??? Get over it, get a HTC.

RIM sucks big time guys. When is everyone going to get over the fact that BB connect is a complete rip off? Windows Mobile rules!!!!

I had a Treo 750 before this phone, and a Nokia N73. I had this phone for 1 week now and this phone is small, light and powerful. I love receiving my e-mail effortlesly (nobody can beat the Bberrys on this). Pretty fast through the menus, call quality is excellent, voice rec is excellent, flash and camera quality also excellent. The battery can go days without recharging. It is stylish, something a smartphone normally does not have. I have installed applications on it, and syncs flawlessly with my Mac and work PC. I will give this phone 5 stars. I'm loving it.

@rich

I wouldn't change my N73 for nothing.
Maybe you can keep them both? That would be the smartest move.

Cheers!
