> In reply to Junaid Kureshi @ 2008-10-18 08:43 from u1tq - click to readI bought this phone for my husband. Persoanlly I have the Blackberry Curve. LOVVVVVEEE Blackberry, so how can you go wrong on a Blackberry flip phone? It's got everything one could possibly need and then some. It's sleek and light. The cost? $149.

I'm amazed by all of the negative comments being posted on a phone most of us have never seen or touched. The comments seem to be very positive from all of the video reviews I've seen. There never has or will be a perfect cell phone to appease all of us geeks. Every unit I've seen or bought is missing at least 10 things that I want it to have. Besides, flip phone are sweeeeeet!

> In reply to o2 dude @ 2008-09-30 16:32 from Skr1 - click to readHi Dude. Checking the specifications posted here (which might even be wrong), noone is talking about HSDPA in this device. Edge is marked only. Also, checking: http://www.blackberry.com/blac...l/8220.shtml
it says: "The BlackBerry Pearl 8220 smartphone is designed to access 3GPP RTSP mobile streaming websites."
So either the site specifications are wrong, or you may have accidentaly mis-typed something. Please review and suggest.

this phone WILL be available on o2, just had a training session with blackberry, and this phone looks like it will appeal to everybody, all te features of a regular blackberry, plus a couple of extras added aswell now, e.g. hsdpa - can now stream video from sites such as youtube.

my best friend works for a mobile app company and hes been using a pre production version of the pearl flip for a few weeks now and he says its very good... i thought in the pics it would look very bland but in person it is quite nice... though it uses most of teh same software as the bold it doesnt have the same depth as the bold.. you might say a little dumbd down... but all in all its pretty good

Actually, I believe this is targeted for the teens market.
There will be LOTS and LOTS of high school/college students business-man-looking-wannabe using this phone.
For this will come with T-Mobile, I guess I'll get one for me too. :)

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-09-15 16:31 from mCSY - click to readhey, guess what! This is the Bold's OS in a flip form. Only thing it lacks is the Bold's 3G, and if all the delays are any hint at all to you, you don't want a 3G blackberry. Every review I've read shows that this has the same screen resolution and quality, just smaller. So withhold judgment.
