A great phone but only battery issue as usual blackberry's minus point.WiFi not available in phone even though if u use blackberry connection, then u dont need wifi, but i think it would be best if there is it.

Rubbish camera that is so slow you loose the image. Colours are washed out as well.
Screen edges don't click.
Battery is impractical at less than one day.
Limited and costly applications.
Flimsy buttons which break in the case.
Can't run Youtube or videos properly.
Promised update either don't arrive or do as many negatives as the do fixes.
Good agenda creator.
Good clarity overall.
Best to wait until this phone has been properly developed and the MAJOR issues it has, which really do spoil usability are sorted. This looks like being some way off.
Hey guys i used it n didnt find it vry nice although a great blackberry phone but not upto the mark.
i got this phone two days ago and its fatastic the people who wrote bad reflections about it %80 of them are using an old firmware and rest probablly dont know how to use a blackberry.I will admitt that the battery life is poor and it shoulld have had wi-fi but anybody who is familiar with blackberry and thinking of buying it go right ahead dont listen to the comments

kamruddin785, 14 Apr 2009Hi users. can anyone suggest me which one is better among HTC touch HD,X1, BB Storm9500 and Om... morei have tried all of it in stores phone demo, and my friend's has 2 of those. all the phones has almost similar specs,
i will go for the blackberry storm and htc touch HD.
omnia is very slow, the touchscreen is really not responsive. its really hard to use if you dont have a stylus.
x1 is also slow, the touchscreen is also not responsive but the good thing is it has a qwerty keyboard ad a stylus, its a big help if the touchsreen is not that responsive.
htc touch Hd and bb storm are better..
HTC touch HD beats all of them in specs, it is similar to x1 and omnia's specs but it has better camera, better touchscreen, bigger screen size and a bit faster than omnia and x1.
the blackberry storm is unique. it has a much responsive touchscreen than the 3, because it has capacitive touchscreen, but a clickable touch. wherein the whole screen is a button to press.
i have tried it and its good. you will not accidentally select something because if you tap it, it will only highlight and will not select until you push the whole screen like a button. i find th storm easier to use than the HD,x1, and omnia. and it has plenty of text editing options, that is why it is easier to manage.
well its your choice, but for me blackberry storm and htc touch hd is the winner.
we can use this phone for any other thing ,,,,,like as a user frindly.........?????
this phione is locking as a bussenes phone adnd i like to use it alwayss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hello im really stuck in the middle with the storm and the javelin well there are some positive oppinions on the storm however the majority is negative since i dont live in Turkey i cant get this phone with a contract or anything so ill have to pay about 700 dollars (the 8900 costs about the same its aout 600 dolars) so please give me an idea on which one to buy i have used a blackberry before for like a year(got stolen) and ive been using winmo before that
Hi users. can anyone suggest me which one is better among HTC touch HD,X1, BB Storm9500 and Omnia i900 in respect of 1.battery life 2.Speed 3.Lots of Options so that I don't get bored 4.Camera (I like Xenon flash but HD has no flash even!!is the picture quality bad in HD compared to others?)-please use rating against every criterion with your opinion.
I prefer X1 but I am bit reluctant for the width of the phone. I prefer a phone which has a modest ratio of length and width for instance apple iphone so that I can read my docs and view my pictures more smartly. For this I prefer HD. Is there any difference in viewing the docs in different OS? I have gone through the specifications of the above mentioned 4 phone sets and it seems almost same specifics (processor, RAM mostly). I think everybody trusts practical experience more than those written specifics. another thing is I am not concerned about the prices rather quality. but if I get same quality in the two different priced phonesets for example I will go for cheap one(surely everyone does this :))
in my country the prices are:
HTC HD: US $771
X1: US $614
Omnia i900: US $528
BB Storm9500:US $542
