Great phone, i think it stands to be better than the storm2. only down side is no wi-fi. but thats what computers are for. I just downloaded the new O.S for this phone last nite, but it crashed my phone so i was at the verizon store when they opened to get my replacement. Insurance is a great thing! I love this new o.s makes the phone seemless between apps. When clicking on the icons they zoom into screen like the iphone. Has a couple different options for the home screen view. I love the new sms/mms platform. Your inbox stays clean, and does not store every response and incoming message seperate. You see the last message either sent or recieved by that person, and it opens into its own conversation. Emails act the same way. new options w/o using an application you can select a ring/vib option for all incoming alerts!
Great new system, just needs to be on a new phone, load it on your storm(1) at your own risk!

The New Blackberry Storm 2 based on the ARM Processor is more powerful then some of the notebook powered by Intel atom, and the best thing about this mini super computer is that it fits in your pocket.

Soon the Blackberry Storm 2 will be available on pay as you go mobile phones plan from many of the UK’s top service providers such as Vodafone.

Why this device doesn't have WiFi are blackberry is going to manufacturing or updating it.

For all those who say that BBStorm is crap are just sourgraping. They just can't afford to buy it and stuck with cheap Nokia Phones. ;)

Sorry guys but the truth really hurts..

Storm Rules!!!

I absolutely LOVE my Storm! I'm currently running .151 OS and plan on upgrading again once an official leak becomes available but I've had absolutely no problems with my device and highly recommend it!

> In reply to KK @ 2009-09-29 12:44 from mD66People who say the BB9530T is junk just DO NOT KNOW how to use the device. I'm sorry but most people buy it and take it home for a couple days then due to the down right laziness or embarrassment of not understanding new technology returnit blaming the device.
I'll take a look at it and all the icons are still in the same spot (oh the icons can be moved?), they got the phone all jacked up cause they wouldn't take a minute or two to look at manual or BB's EXCELLENT 101s , forums(I have no clue how the saints on there don't lose their minds with all the uneducated posts), user guides, BB & VZW's hold your hand support (They even will let you come inside a store and have 1 on 1 device training for FREE!). Meanwhile, they don't understand that it takes time to learn this WONDERFUL device. I laugh when I have to return this phone for someone and give them a Curve 8830 or something "sniffle, sniffle" more basic.
Don't listen to all the haters out there. I work for VZW and I have called them the EVIL EMPIRE due to there high prices, no Wifi, etc. but stop by your local VZW and look at the 3G maps. PROOF is in the pudding! Sprint has a bigger 3G network than AT&T. My poor wife has the iPhone (her boss is all Mac), which is a great device with a 3rd rate wireless provider. She has fun with her little apps but when she needs to make a call or send a pic thru MMS she picks up her LG VX-9100.
I'm not trying to sell you on VZW and I certainly am not a kool-aid drinking company man, I just want people to know that this device works perfectly. So stop complaining about it because the statistics say that most computer/mobile phone related problems are either user error, no trouble found, physical&liquid damage.
The people who bring there Storm back are forgetting the 20,000 x's the dropped it, the accidental drop in the beer pong cup, or the best one TALKING IN THE RAIN. Try dumping water on your plasma TV and see if Best Buy will replace it for you??????

What does eveyone think about the new BB Storm 2 that due to be released later in month.

Does anyone recommend it at all? I'm not interested in the Storm 1 as it has no wifi but I hear storm 2 does, so am tempted by it.

I had a BB Bold and was a little disappointed with it, only cause it crashed all the time.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Craig

Look yeah sure the phone doesn't have wifi an thats a damn shame. But from my experience once you upgrade the software it runs quite smooth actually and just like the iphone if you want to fully optimize it then you have to download software that suits you. But in all its a good phone.. Where they may have lacked now they will certainly make up later. But don't forget this is RIM's first touch screen so give em some slack yeah!
