> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-08-21 06:58 from yVgU - click to readHow can you criticise, something as reliable as a blackberry. Do you work for apple perhaps? I've been using my blackberry for so long and I have never had a problem with it crashing, freezing and the battery life is just amazing! My partner has had his iphone for two years, during this time its been crashing, randomly phoning people, and the amount of stupid and useless applications he downloaded has been countless! I love my blackberry and working in a phone shop, I know from experience that blackberries sell very well!

> In reply to Yarni @ 2010-08-20 06:36 from vamG - click to readlol dont be stupid.
only 7% of the UK population use Video call others have "tried" it but it didnt take off as much as manufacturers wanted it to so its not a much added feature to develop on atleast for now.

iPhone 4.0 has added it and is probably the only phone to do it but with only to other iPhone 4.0s which is kinda stupid.

Why isn't their a Blackberry with a Video call front camera? There are people whom make video calls whom are frustrated that this basic feature isn't available.

Why i love BB is for one there is no rapid devaluation in prices of the handsets since the releases are limited to 1 or two in a year. second is the superb build quality which is atleast 100% better than Nokia. No creaking back covers,no heavy looking phones which are featherweight!. i had a BB 9700 which was purchased for 29990 and when i upgraded to the Torch 9800 i could get resale of 23500/- which is decent. in my Nokia days, i remember there used to be a price correction several times because of which i used to end up losing more than 50% when a newer model was released. even now the trend continues. Nokia N8 isnt released as yet, but Nokia N9 is rumoured to launch by december. a perosn who invests on N8 will surely have heartbreaks when N9 Launches. this isnt the case with Blackberry! i even turned off BIS services for a week to check on whether i could get along with Nokia Messaging service which is a cheaper alternative. but the lag in message delivery, slow browsing etc made me get BIS back at twice the speed i had temporarily de-activated it! now with the BB9800 Torch, things have come a full circle for the menu, features, icons, social feeds, touch screen display, the alerts ribbon on the top are mind blowing..

> In reply to [deleted post]The cost could be in the range of 37K if you get one down from USA. AT&T unlocked. when it releases in India it could be in the range of Rs. 31990-39990. right now retailers on ebay India are selling it for 53K and on Global easy buy of Ebay India it is being sold for a price ranging from 42k-51k

> In reply to Matt @ 2010-08-19 21:43 from t7Gm - click to readThe Battery is good. a day of texting, browsing, downloads, youtube, facebook, about 25 emails, 30 minutes of voice calls..the battery at the end of the day is about 80%. the battery performance increases after 3-4 charges. preferably charge from the AC socket than the USB port!

> In reply to [deleted post]Yes it works in India. i recieved mine on August 16th. had to import the generic service Browser books from the BB9700 as the OS 6.0 Service books for Browsing have not been released in India and so they didnt get pushedhowever the device registered itself on the network. gtalk, FB, Yahoo, MSN, Emails were working. after a import, browsing is fine and BB9800 Rocks!!! the BEST BB EVER!

BB should be apologising for the Storms, and if this is it, then the two most prominent features; the processor and the screen means they are rather dismissive of customer discontent. Further market decline will surely follow and sympathy is hard to find.
