I think this is by far the best BlackBerry I have used. I have used a Storm 1 (that's a crap phone and everyone agrees), a Bold, Javelin and some of the older 8707s. Nothing beats this phone. Yet to use the 9700, but I think I am pretty happy with the Tour. With OS 5.0 on it, it just rocks!
And the best part is it comes in a non-camera version! Hooray to workplaces that disallow camera phones!

this phone is not officially launch in my country which is malaysia.So the service provider here have no setting for this device.Arghhh!!!

i dont feel the lack of a wifi on this baby because i get 1XEVDO on this which is as fast as any wifi. I know because i was using Javelin 8900 before with wifi.

I've had a lot of phones of the years and by far this the best phone I've had its easy to used and its goes perfect with my lfe style

from solomondrin.net blackberry essex will have same design like tour but with trackpad n smaller dimension..i thought it same like javeline n onyx..the camera resolution still the same i.e. 3.2 mp..the processor still the same i.e. 528 mhz..the flash memory still the same i.e. 256 mb..the internal memory will be 2 gb..i hope all the specification is true especially the internal memory..i was so dissapointed with the review of onyx..first it said it had 1 gb internal memory but the true is only 256 mb..

Okay...I think I have found a phone that will last me for awhile...this year I have gone through about four cellphones and up until I got my tour I haven't be satified...I have had the G1(good phone but horrible battery)n a bb 8800( good phone, great battery but no 3g or camera) a curve 8310 (again good phone but froze up way too much and cameras sucked) but with my tour I have a great camera, good call quality, better web browsing, great organizational apps, and a damn fine media player...the phone is stylish, sleek, and very high class)though I'm a little disappointed they already have a new tour 9650 made with a trackpad...I am very well pleased with how the trackball works on this phone( as with my curve I always was buying new ones every other week) good job RIM...I'm a customer for life

GOOD NEWS ALL!!!i heard that tour 2 9650 codename essex will be released on dec 20th-jan 10th..the feature will be wifi,3.2 mp,gsm/cdma n bb os 5 version..this will be great..please hurry release it rim..
