Rog518za, 13 Feb 2013Regarding Mr 7 days of frustration, your points are noted... there will be teething problems, ... morebattery is really bad..it drained in half a day and i dont explore apps and all since im a blackberry user already.. i dont even use you tube....it took long time to boot when u switch on..and while using the phone just on bbm, the back is getting hot. i havent even used it on phone calls. some of my apps in Bold9900 are not compatible Z10. A lot of settings in Bold are not on Z10 ( like disabling BBM updates) its so much hassle to change from one chat window to another...i am disappointed with Z10 =/
Sa3doon, 13 Feb 2013Which better to buy I phone 5 or BlackBerry Z10Z10 is a much better device and you can load android Apps on it .
Everyone of you guys say thar you can port android apps !
And you don't even have the device !
Stop writing about stuff you think you know or not certain !
If we can port android apps then tell us the way , of course noone knows how because they don't have the phone !
Post 1 youtube video on how to port android apps ....
If think there's not a single video the demonstrates how to do this !
So there's no such thing as porting apps on BB10 !

Shame on BBerry for such an advanced system (Z10) not to have the basic Desktop Software for Mac OS to synch contacts and cal.
there are lot of things that will dissatisfied u on this phone. blackberry will forever be blackberry.

just bought the z10 and belive me this device is cool its a must have for everyone who loves blackberry....
Nice looking phone . Light weight . Good screen resolution . BUT..and this BUT is with capital letter: How come it doesn't support Outlook sync. it is a hassle to get your contacts imported. NO whatsapp, No Skype, No Viber, Keyboard Hangs, and least but not last if you turn the phone off your morning alarm (for example ) wont start !!!! I am a bit frustrated/disappointed) with my Z10 so far.
Regarding Mr 7 days of frustration, your points are noted... there will be teething problems, as it's a new OS and new hardware, that doesnt mean the phone is bad. From personal experience when "we" get new phones we tend to abuse the phone for the 1st couple of days, trying to get use to everything... so naturally your battery wont last, try using it the same way you used your previous phone and let us know if the battery life still stays the same... you cant bash the phone/OS when you are then one being over zealous...
This is the Perfect phone for me...I could use to my personal and for my work..,Now I just need 1phone... :)
After 7 days of frustration...
Conclusion: Z10 is a iPhone wannabe, but got only ~60%.
It looks similar to an iPhone.
Battery life is ultra-short, unacceptable. I got 4 to 5 hours on a full charge. On standby most of the time too.
The word guessing on-screen keyboard is cool, but has quirks: unpredictable auto-delete, gets stuck on some cap letters, mysterious auto tab! Ugh!
Image rotation is slow at best and gets stuck periodically.
Most functions and apps take a while to open.
Oh, no Viber for Z10.
Don't understand why there are so many positive reviews on this site. Maybe I got a lemon?! Hope so for BB sake. I am not impressed. Can understand why Home Depot went with iPhone rather than BB.
