Rehman, 25 Nov 2015i have interested to purchase blackberry Z30 or blackberry passport please guide me which one ... moreZ30 vs passport ?
Passport: faster processor, physical keyboard, IPS lcd screen
z30: somewhat slower processor, full touch, amoled screen
I like real black, not fuzzy dark, so i prefer amoled, and, I prefer full touch, so z30 for me. The z30 has a decent CPU, no lags at all, even in games, so floats my boat.
...been an android fun for close to 5 yrs now: I switched to de BlackBerry OS with the z10 n really love it. Am now thinking of getting the z30 in de coming weeks n de passport some months later.
#pls is de z30 as ccool as de z10?
Gagan, 19 Nov 2015terrible thing BB management is doing with such a device. I finally sold my z30 and bought sam... moreThats really interesting your comment. I went from a Z30 to a S4LTE and frankly the experience has been the opposite of your observations, with the exception of the camera. I have been very disappointed with the lag and the Samsung interface. Then there is the question of security and the constant access by so many apps to everything you do. The BB email client and the general OS to me is superior. OK the Z30 could do with more power but it certainly is no worse than the Samsung S4. Perhaps the S5 is what I should have bought, but they were very expensive at the time. The biggest issue really is security. Android still has not got its act together.
i have interested to purchase blackberry Z30 or blackberry passport please guide me which one is best for using and also tell me the features and battery timing of both handset.

bb z30 or moto x playFrom apps perspective moto, samsung etc but from productivity and security perspective one n only option is Blackberry.
I love this device, works so smooth even almost two years after purchase, OS BB10 never crashes, no lags at all. Good battery, excellent browsing and call connection of perfect quality. BlackBerry did a very good job here, great and very underrated phone imo
terrible thing BB management is doing with such a device. I finally sold my z30 and bought samsung on5. Totally delighted with the buy. light weight, utorrent works like charm, no lags with FB or whatsapp that i faced with z30. most amazing part battery is 25% better than z30. never hangs. had been a BB fan since i bought z10. but disappointed with the recent developments about selling of the company and shifting to android platform. Sammy has not disappointed to be honest.
avoidable - very poor gsm/4g antenna - very poor wifi antenna - doesn't work well in weak signal areas - does not run many popular android apps eg., flight radar.
I regret buying it
Good : battery lasts a full 11 to 12 hrs without charging
Blackberry executives should be fired for sitting and doing too little with such a great mobile OS. Release 5-10 phone models per year and watch the market respond.
Why are all BB OS phones so heavy and small screen to size ratio. The z30 is 170 gms with 5.0" screen, while Samsung gives us a note4 and note5 is 172 gms at 5.7" screen, the LG g3 and g4 is only 150gms with a 5.5" screen.
The Blackberry Priv looks and feels great, I can understand it being a bit big and heavy due to the keyboard. But BB executives seems to purposely be putting a great effort for Android, this is not fair to BB os .
Giving your own OS unwanted phone specs and then giving an outside OS a better phone specs sounds a bit disloyal.
littlecat96, 15 Nov 2015Hey guys I've never have any experience using Blackberry before and I would love to know does ... moreIt is smooth in its own right. It wont feel as fluid as the iPhone or the Samsung GS6, but it does not lag at all.. unless you decide to use the Android Amazon App Store apps on an Blackberry, the apps themselves feel clunky, laggy, very buggy, and tend to crash a lot, yet get the job done. Surprisingly, the Blackberry Apps run very smooth and offer way more features than some of the native Android or iOS apps. Messaging is at its best on Blackberry. If you are a gym guy, music player on this bad boy is pretty sweet not just the audio quality but the ability to skip songs using the volume keys while lifting or running without even touching the touch screen. Camera is decent not the greatest though. And browser can handle everything you throw at it.
I m using blackberry Z30 for the past seven months. such a awesome phone. Really superb phone. But the price wise is so high end devices from blackberry. Once they reduce the price they may grow up.
