When I saw this phone on Staples for $209 I was most interested, especially since it had dual SIM capability. I had never heard of the brand but after I read the specs on the phone I decided to give it a try. Two months later, I am utterly satisfied with this incredibly versatile phone. The specs on the phone are not best of breed by any means but the display resolution and clarity are excellent and the dual cameras are more than adequate.
Since I travel a fair bit, carrying that extra phone has become a drag and finally I thought I would try a dual SIM phone. I can honestly say that I would never go back to a single SIM phone any more. The phone came with ANdroid 4.4 but there was an upgrade to 5.0 which was painless. Android's handling of dual SIMs is terrific. You can set one SIM card as the default for each type of activity - calls, texts, data or you can opt to be prompted for each type of activity. I have prompting set for texts so when I decide to text someone, the phone asks me which SIM I would like to use. For data I have my home SIM card set as the default since that is the only one with a data plan. I finally moved my Rogers SIM card from my Iphone 4S to this phone and its never going back! Of course, the choice of apps for Android is huge but 2 of my favourites are Microsoft outlook for Android and the Sandisk Memory manager app. Outlook gives you the same look and feel as outlook on Windows and I know for many this will not be important. The Sandisk memory app allows managing external memory sticks - dual USB port sticks that have a micro USB interface can be plugged into the charging port and all files on the memory stick are available to the phone. Also, plugging your phone into a PC allows you to drag and drop any file from your PC to the phone - either internal storage or the micro SD card. The display is huge - a full 6 inches and it's quite remarkable what this allows you to do. Using a browser is finally a pleasure on the phone and reading PDFs is a joy. But the single most useful feature for me is the dual SIM capability. I have become so attached to this device, if the price drops below $200 I am getting a spare!
The battery not being able to do a battery pull is the worst thing ever. The phone freezes and you cant remove the battery to restart it. I think the person who came up with such a concept needs help. The phone will freeze after a week of use and after you add the basic apps. The volume low for such a large phone plus it gets slow after one week. I would not recommend anyone to get this phone unless you not installing any apps and just using it for calls. The camera is not all that either
Jstacy, 15 Nov 2015I have had this phone for about 3 months now it's all been good up until the last week or so i... moreit's probably not the phone that is doing it. the lock buttons on the phone are way too easy to click, so its probably being pressed on without you knowing. and when that happens, if you hold if for a long time, it'll shut off.
I have had my phone for the past 2 months.I am now having problems with the phone dialer and the phonebook not loading ( message tat often comes up when i attempt to use my phone book or to dial a # is "unfortuantley contacts is not responding"). This annoys the hell out of me especially in emergency situations and I need to make a call and worst case I can't recall a number from memory.sigh. another issue that I have is that the phone freezes too often and also if I put my phone to sleep using the power button and I immediately try to reopen it using d power button it doesn't respond until a minute time...I like d phone but these issues annoys the heck out of me..I have made several attempts to through it into the wall..can someone give me some advise as to what to do to alleviate if not eliminate these problems or some of theses problems.
I have had this phone for about 3 months now it's all been good up until the last week or so it likes to shut off all the time when I'm not using it what does that mean? I'm seriously contemplating getting a new phone because it just annoys me every time I go to use it it off or restarting.

Phone blacks outs every time I uses the flash light and want come back on for at least 3 to 4 days.
I am using our Local Carrier slot 2 Sim Telecom Vanuatu and Slot 1 Sim Digicel Vanuatu and always Sim 1 Slot detect network and I am using that but with SIM 2 slot it usually comes out often every evening around 5pm and last for some hours and once I wake up in the morning to check it disappears again.
I am using 3G network on other mobile phones but with this one it only detect 2G network once I use data connection. When I switch to 3G only network mode only the network bar just varnish and once I change to 2G network mode it always detect 2G .
Had the phone for about 2-3 months now, phone isn't charging no matter what charger I use and when I press the power button the screen flashes and remains off,
Great for gaming and watching videos. When it drops,it can crack badly.the glass fell out the bottom half and half the screen will not work.if you want this phone, buy a sturdy reliable case.
my BLU is showing some chines writing, now it is going on and off, and I started using it two day ago.....what is going on
Just got this phone yesterday. Love it! Yes volume is not what I'd like it to be but other than that this is a great phone for the price. I'm no photographer but I think it takes good quality pics. Download speeds are good. Love the screen size. All apps function perfectly. Keyboard is slightly sensitive meaning I have to press slightly harder than other phones I've used. All my friends want one of these now. I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5.
