i just got a set of dell streak but absolutely can not play video well cos something go streng action slowly than sound with vitalplayer or mxplayer or moboplayer or vplayer... so can help with this ? which software that can play file video.

I checkout out the specs of Deel Streak they are just awesome but would it be wise to buy it as it is out of production and does this model has issues with its camera also?

it was about 7 month ago... i went to a store to buy this phone, but it was out of stock. then i got my xperia arc.
mine is wonderful but i still really want this phone.. i'm going to this soon :)
i think ill love the 5inch sreen very much

Why is the status still available when Dell discontinued the Streak 5 on August 15, 2011?

I have it since more than a year and it's just fantastic, the guarantee (i've broke two while trying to flash them) is rock solid - direct replacement, no questions asked.
I am running android 2.3.7 now and no issues at all!
Great touch sensitivity, the screen is not as good as SUPER AMOLED but good enough for any use.
Impressive quality.
But most important it's share size makes a hell of impression to anyone that sees it !

i have used this device for a year now and so far so good... i am in Ghana and its really cool using it on airtel. never regretted purchasing it. i just cant send sms with the upgraded android 2.2 n also i happen to break the screen but i cannot get one anywhere in Ghana to buy.

I've been using my Streak for one year. Overall, I am impressed by the performance. It has everything I need: games, ebooks, emails, instant messaging, social networking. I rarely use this phone for text messages. The wifi quality is very good. It's fast in detecting new connections. But recently, I found errors in accessing the Play Store, but it's mostly the problem with the app and not the phone itself. At times, it takes a while to load the home screen after I unlock it so it's not really good as a primary phone, especially if you want to make an urgent call. I think it's my own problem, since I don't clean the download section that often. Sometimes it restarts by itself. It's not a big deal for me as long as my docs are still there. My biggest problem is the service in Indonesia. I asked for a new cable data and they said I need to wait three weeks. They never called me back and I have to resort to fake Chinese cable. Even if it works well, I'm still disappointed by the distributors. All in all, I have no regrets. Electronics do age and I think Streak ages well.

touchscreen response is no where compared to apple... not even half as responsive...i have used both..a lot of difference.. dell needs to do its homework.
