Thanks for replying..

I can open gmail in my browser..however when i am trying to login through the icon..it says "cant establish a server location.contact your operator..
So, Do i need to call Cust care and manually configure the account..Does it inclued activation charges as well?

Can anyone tell me how to operate this phone through Google account?? I have a google account however i am not able to log in..it gives me an error everytime "This could be a temp prob.if it continues please contact cust. care".. I have a active net connection in my XCD 35.. Please suggest

this phone dont have 3.5mm jack..

however if u can shell 10000rupees more, go for Sony Erickson XPERIA (ultimate android phone as per my research)

One more thing, Dell has a great customer care and after sales service base. You can count on the companys reputation even if they are new in cell domain;-)

I own Dell xcd35 and have no complains about it as for now. I brought it from a Dell exclusive store for a bit higher price than the dealers , but atleast the satisfaction of havin a geniun product is worth the difference. The manual is a bit incomplete but the user interface is so simple that i hardly felt the need of a manual!
The camera is pretty decent at 3.2mp but it beats the quality of other competitors with same mp in the market. Yes android is still 2.1 but Dell says it will be upgraded soon, so no worries on that front.
The phone is roburst and touch screen is very sensitive. With few free applications downloads from the Android market, you will be happy to have brought this phone. Keep playing on it and you will soon find that mobiles cant get better, faster and simpler:-)

p.s The cheaper options in market have cheaper hardware and many things missing too. Consider that before any buy;-)

its good but not best according to range o.s 2.1 not updated to 2.2 froyo and only 600mhz proccesar .not aolated its not syand to samsung 8500 or 8530 in this range

I wanted to know wheather this phone wil update to 2.2 or not.....if it doesnt ,no use of buyin the phone:(.........and this phone has a disadvantage-we cannot fast forward videos(no skipping)...pls do u have a idea abt this:)

phone is excellent but mannuel is not complete even company is not providing scratch guard and cover with the same little difficult to forward the message and also company should upgrade the android o.s

it has 256 MB of ram and a ARM11 processor clocked at 600 mhz which means it can play flash videos if upgraded to android 2.2

Using Dell XCD35 I am not able to sign in using my existing Google a/c in any of the appls that require Google a/c over Vodafone network. Any solution?
