Good phone,good battery,but the only problem for this phone was the missing of vibration!!!

my first phn ever! it got stolen by bandits mid 2002 and i stil miss dis phn.keypad gave me trouble sumtime bt,i got it fixd by myself.dis phn made me knw hw to repair cell phns and am proud of dis antique.

The biggest phone I ever had....way back 2002 :) And I had a hard time typing text messages because of the keypad....

I've used one for a couple of years, only had to fix the keyboard. Otherwise, loved it. Got a Nokia 3330 after it, but I couldn't stand it after the 2628s it was like a half-product. Actually, I still have this Ericsson, for sentimental reasons, and if I put a SIM in it it still works. This is a forgotten legend. Glory!

GREAT PHONE.when i had it it was a hit ! the menu rocked , the wap option rocked , and the battery , i don`t have words to describe it :) . the signal broke after many years of serving me :)

good parts: a lot of features, profiles, calculator, stopwatch, wap, shortcuts, anything u want; a lot of accesories are avaible, like handsfree, chatboard (qwerty keyboard attached at the bottom of the phone), fm radios, mp3players, etc, has 100 entry phone memory, can copy between 2 simcards, sent sms counter, voice dial, speciifc ringtone for each phone book entry, games, verry loud speaker (volume adjustable), verry sensible mic (i was keeping mine on the desk and i was speaking and the person on the other side was hearing me perfectly, and also i was hearing her due the loud speaker), changeable case (front and 3/4 of the back), battery lasts up to 10 days
bad parts: it's quite big, has a big antenna, it's software it's verry slow, the menu movement is slow, the sim actions are verry slow (up to 10 sec to enter inbox, 3 sec to enter phone book), call actions are delayed (ex pressing NO it's delayed up to 2 sec), the software sometimes hangs and u must reset the phone wich it's quite hard coz the battery is allways connected, u have to disconect the little plug wich it's hardly accesible; it has problems with the keyboard-> it's not heavy duty, the keys stopped working after 1 year at mine; it's verry sensible at humidity, protect it from rain, snow, steam, sweat, anything

A2628 like its brother A2618, is very prone to keypad problems, according to people i know: this is a disposable cellphone.
