This was great phone. Any idea is it possible to get fresh batteries to it somewhere?

If any of you have an idea aboout if there any place or website are selling Ericsson 388 please let me know ? I used it for almost 1 year. when you are talking about Ericsson 338 mean quality. Great phone, dropped it 4 metres once, plugged the battery back in and it worked fine. The Aluminium chassis made it very sturdy.

i had this phone for a short time WAY back...its was cool at that time i was 11?12? i liked the click tones of the keypad..hahhaha!!but then i got the motorola v box..hahahhaha

Yes today 30/05/2007 use I this phone, also GA 628 and Nokia 1611. The last one was my first one and I never buy a other. The Ericssons I receive it as a gift from friends and yes I look for the user manual guide in dutch if that is posible? Englisch is the last option. The phone's, well right now it are the battery's that make it not comfortable...Only the big one work! The small 600mAh is not to find anymore what is very pitty. But I tray to going further with..So thanks for reading and I hope to receive some news this topic...Luc

sturdy old thing; I have it as a B&O-model - Bang & Olufsen. Not much battery life, though; even with display light off and entirely new and fully charged battery, it only lasts me through the day, before needing recharge, and sometimes not even that.

Good phone, in fact was the phone of the '96. Big power (1.5W not only 0.5 as usual phones) very resistant at shocks (aluminium body not plastic). I have one for 3 1/2 years and don't have any kind of problems.
