I'm using mine for 8 years now, with original "made in Sweden" battery, some keyboard marking has worn off, but the phone works perfectly, so far it never let me down, has been in rain, water and mud and has fallen many times on hard surfaces. I'm not thinking of replacing it with anything else as long as it is functioning as it is now, no matter how anachronous it may seem

I have one when I was college, I think this phone is very weak ! unlike when its demonstrated !!
but I love the model !
the weakness is low signal accepted when in the deep coverage area !

Like Mark said, factory reconditioned, but in brand new condition, even had plastic protective film over the screen, just like a brand new one.
Works perfectly. Tough brick. Very happy with it.

Just received one that I ordered form Ebay.
It's a refurbished one, but it looks like all the parts used are 100% original. No copy or low quality housing. Very pleased with this canary yellow golden oldie!!

I see a lot of r310s for sale on ebay right now.
Anyone recent experience with these?
It are refurb phones, but is the quality ok?
Do these phones have original Ericsson covers/housings???

wannsee-electronic which supplied me 2 batteries @ £12.90 each with free shipping to Europe. Alternatively there are some suppliers on e-bay again from Hong Kong and China but their batteries do not always meet the EU safety criteria.

Hi! Anyone knows where I can get batteries for this mobile...? I have 2 units of each color like new and 3 more yellow and 4 more orange..., but the bigger problem are the dead batteries... Thanks

a bit heavy, a bit bulky but how gorgeous can a dust-h2o-shock-resistant phone be? definitely an eye-catcher. my 6th handset.

This was my 3rd Ericsson phone. I got the R310sc (the one with Chinese language options) in yellow! It was a superb phone. It was tough, reliable and very unique! Imagine bringing that phone to a meeting, or wearing it in public (which I did!) Cool! Even the accessories! Unfortunately, here in the Philippines, the rubber seals tend to disintegrate in the humidity very quickly and I've had to replace them twice when I had it. Quite expensive.
