My friend was one of the earliest who bought this phone. He had the black one! If i remember correctly, he had a stereo headphone & used to listen to FM Radio with it. Great phone for those days!! Its place was taken over by Ericsson T28 later for its better design.

I still like the design, the battery worked quite a while, vibration could be turned on and off with one button. The clip on the back was practical for in a shirt pocket, or on the dashboard, and the qwerty chatboard was perfect for sms, and even fax messages.
It took some time, but composing your own ringtones was fun.
I still have it, in the nice mustang-yellow colour, but the battery's dead now,

This was my first phone too. I like it, and I plan to bring it in use again - retro forever. :)

Bought this phone off a mate in 2000 for only IR£20 (€25). Amazing phone, only got rid of it because the aerial broke. Still in love with (Sony)Ericsson, using P990i now.

Loved this phone back in the day. I hope they make a few of the old phones cos i really fancy the retro look of phones at the moment. Great conversation starter!!!

I have used this phone back in 2000 for only a couple of months. In that time, that was "must have" phone. It looked great, it worked great but panasonic gd90 was more stilish :), so I change it.
