I think it is one of the best mobiles in the world and I can not understand why it is not modified with same body to new tech.
I am an electronic eng. and I can do a lot of special suggestions to the responsible of this mobile in the ericsson or sony ericsson to take a good share of market again.

I own 4 of the T28 series. For some strange reason, the T28s works much better concerning dripped calls. When I was told that the Razor3 was thinner, I actually went down to Cingular & measured them. The Razor is 1mm thinner (14) T28 15mm. Reason I am writing in is to share a very simple way I fixed the open flip problem. when the flip fails to stay cosed from repeated over the years. Simply apply a pin-size drop of super glue on the tip of the little plastic piece that snaps it shut. Will work perfectly(not too much now).Just a little drop-let settle for 2 hours-your'e goog to go! Live Long & Prosper, Wallieworld

No, jay, your uncle didn't have this phone "more like 1995". I got this phone when it first came out, summer of 1999, and a friend who worked at ericsson at the time got it a couple of months earlier. Maybe your uncle had a development version of the phone in 1998, if he was working for ///, otherwise he got it in 1999 at the earliest.
It was a great phone for its time, albeit with a short battery life.

My uncle had this phone when i was younger well before 1999. It was more like 1995. I want one of these phones so if you have one for sell or know where to get one, please email me and mark it urgent!!! 06/07/2005 i will let everyone know when i get one.

I LOVE this phone! I got one free and bought another for $25 before I got laid off from Ericsson in 2002. The flip latch is messed up on one of them, but I just switch my sim card. It's SO THIN and LIGHT! Can't tell it's in my pocket. I don't think I'll be able to switch to another phone until there's one just as thin for a reasonable price.
Only con: you have to recharge it every night.
