Got this phone today from Stockholm. Fully working condition and no visible scratches. I have already started to love it....simple,elegant and yet quite cool compared to frenzy mobiles we have today.
Got it at 290 SEK (26.5 GBP/29.8 EUR/40 USD/1,813 INR) including a extra new battery+travel charger(not original). Prices are going up!!!!!!!

I've used my T28s as a personal phone for many years and compared with the numerous phones as provided by my employers its simply the best. Light and slim it goes into a shirt pocket with ease unlike the bulky Nokia's.Have only ever experienced one problem and this was easily rectified by removing & replacing the SIM card twice ( as a advised by Orange )Both PC World & CarPhone Warehouse said it was beyond repair and offered to dispose of it on mybehalf and sell me a new phone ! So don't go there if you have have a problem.
Unfortunately I have just recently dropped it again and it has stopped working but in looking for a similar replacement have found that there is nothing of a size and neatness to match it - why not you phone designers ?
So if somebody knows somebody who can effect repairs would like to hear from them otherwise will look for a secondhand replacement.

After my A1015s I had a reason to use this T28 phone.

I love this phone like my previous one.

Very much simple yet elegant.

This is one of a kind.

Its unique sms alert and look makes me ignore the other.

I am another brand of phone user now but if I find phone like this again, a switch will definitely happen. :)

Hope this one come back with lots in its package.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-09-18 18:14 from SeKL - click to readBut he was implying becase it came from the PRC, it is automatically s**t. OK, so they are renowned for Counterfeit and rip off goods, but let's look at the never ending growth of the country, the inevitable status of being a superpower to eclipse EU/US power combined and the construction going on there which is second to none, litrally insane. The fact of the matter is, everything is made in China, and because it is does not imply that it is breakable or counterfeit. 99% of counterfeit goods come from Shenzhen, ironically the world's fastest growing and most progressive city only next to Chonqing, the next NYC/London of the East. Once flourishing Japan is also on the steady decline, it's already no longer the talk or greatenss of east Asia it was a decade or two ago, that's now South Korea and China.
It's people like him that only see this side of the PRC, the poor counterfeit goods which gets a lot of press.

This Was My Second Cellphone In Life...
And This Cellphone is the reason, why i never ever switched sides to nokia ever again.
in the days of 3310 and 3330, while nokia made fat skinned cellphone, with a graphic user interface, that just said, i am retarded....
Having my T28 made me feel special, the excellent battery time, the slim and sexy look. the one button flip thingy, the compact and light weightness. and not to mention the options were really good inside the cell phone it would confuse a nokia user any day... as it was a bit complicated for them to understand. ...

years later, thou i have a w980, m600, along with htc's and imates that i have, i still have my age old t28, although, it does'nt work, cause i broke it's charger, it's still in ship shape condition. i remember the antenna used to come off. that's where a sticker was inside.

and the age old. ericsson special engineering codes

In spite of the fact that I've been supplied with at least 6 modern cell phones with a lot of "schnick-schnack" in them, I keep returning to my Ericsson T28 as it has all the features I want and need. Its uncomplicated, easy to use, solid and reliable.

This was the very furst mobile phone I used in 2000, and i loved everything about it.
The user interface for its day was ahead of its time, and feature packed. I loved the voice dialling feature which worked very well, the physical size and stlylish design. I was very depressed when I had my phone stolen a year after purchasing. I have had many phones since by different manufacturer with allot more features, however the T28S still remains my favourite mobile. So much so that I have just placed an order for a new T28s which I will use as my main phone.
It would be a good idea if Soney Ericsson revamped this model with additional features and sold to market. It is still a very popular and sough out phone.

You can buy them in the UK from retrobrick.com here:

I got one, it worked perfectly and was in great condition. It was an original Ericsson phone - not a cheap chinese refurb with poor quality parts.
