this was my first phone and overall it was alright. i like the simple design. however i had trouble with the button that release the flip. after while it could not catch properly, so i had to get it fix. i used it for calls and sms so that suited me well. however, i change to the t39 when that came out.

This phone is for sure the worst I have ever had! The software is so law that it is nearly unuseable! Such a phone gos directly to the garbage!!! Bullshit!

Hey:
Dont just admire the design. First; the phone loses the network like shit. Secondly the phone has a problem with the flip. This makes your mic to hinder proper communication!
I prefer nokia phones than this ericson esp t28!

my t28s have a problem with its coverrage and also baterry ...it can be use about 4+ hour after 2+ been charged..so who can help me please mail me up

It's a great design. But don't let the look cloud your mind....Ericsson T28 is quite terrible! (I can say this 'cos I already had one for 1 year and I just thrown it away!) First of all, is it's software, the phone will be stalled everytime I tried to make a call and someone just call in at the same time then I have to turn it off or take out the battery! Secondly, when someone calls you, the first ringing tone will not sound on your T28 and T29! after the second tone, your phone will start ringing!! which makes you sometime accidently pickup the call without getting the chance to decide weather to pickup or let it ring? Thirdly, the flip cover (only T28) will broke after 1 year because the push button on the side to open the flip cover will get loose and the flip cover will automatically pop up everytime the phone start vibrating!! you don't even have the chance to decide to pick up that call or not!!!!!) well..if this flip cover is so great..why they've never made this kind of cover again ever??!! Think about that!! Fourthly, the response of menu are so slow!!! and if I push them too fast...it's stalled (again!) How to solve this problem? "TURN IT OFF!!" OR "TAKE OUT THE BATTERY!!" What's good about this phone is the design...the look...and that's all. Good to look at but big mistake to have it.
For me, I think Ericsson phones let users to be their experiment animals. NOKIA phones are fancy, fashionable and commercial. Motorolla phones..well...they make the phone they want to make..don't care what the market want. Siemens phones are not so good in design but reliable, problemless and quite hard to use menu.
I used to have NOKIA 101, Siemens S4 power, Ericssons PH388, Nokia 3210, Motorolla startac X, Ericssons T28, Ericsson T29 and Siemens S35i
