it is good phone but very silly small screen and key pad also terrible small.active flip cover is usefull I guess.little beatifull with the many good stuff inside of it.but still screen and keypad(keypad especially at the night)very useless and silly.

i have noticed that there are a lot of comments about the t29. is anybody out there actually knows what the actual sar readings of the mobile phone? i have tried very hard to find the answer including writing to ericsson main office but to no avail.

I'm going to buy a T29 for myself this evening.
If anybody have a notice or warning please inform me.
I chose this because others were too expensive and not coming from a GSM technology inventor.

not a bad phone, personal preference is the T28 (no WAP, better keypad). BIG complaints about T29s;

Every 5 secs the screnn alternates between the current time and the text "VODA" or whatever service you use. Total waste of time, irritating and un necessary and NO you cant change it!

sending txt messages at night is painful at the keys 'should' light up, instead in the middle of each key is a dark spot. So instead of seeing the letters "5 jkl" you see 5 l. again a total waste of time, irritating and un necessary and NO you cant change it!
Verdict;
I'll never get another Ericcson. There are better out there.

Anybody know why my phone full charge standby 106h and talk time 5h 16m ? caused I have read it for standby about 150h and talk time 7 hours.

I'm about to upgrade my phone on a BT Cellnet contract and the Erisson T29(about £30) is one of the phones I am deciding purchase. The others being Seimens SL45(about £100) and the Motorola v66(about £150). The T29 is cheap and has a lot of features, the Siemens has a built in MP3 player.. but is uses SERIAL!!! to transfer the .mp3 files. The Motorola has GPRS, WAP and is tiny. I used to have the Motorola v3690 untill I lost it, and the insurence did'nt go through. That phone we small but didnt have any features not even any games. I am tempted to get the v66 because of its size and the amount of features it has, the thing is its cost about £150 and the T29 only costs about £30.
