Bought the phone in Amsterdam for 279 Euros, was 179 GBP in London. No problem with the battery.
Use it in Europe and North America. Send it a Nokia ringtone and as it is playing you can save it to the phone.
Haven't tried the Graphics yet but pixel dimentions are different than Nokia Oerator Logos.
Don't like the fact that if you display a logo you can't hide your operator name. Bothe network and SIM name both show up normally.
Vibrate is very good and menu system, while not as easy as Nokia (biased) is very usable without having to read the manual. IR port would have been nice
as I haven't seen any info about using a data cable on the T66. Have had no problem using the keys with the tip of my thumb, and I have big hands. Need a rubber protective case
so you can slip phone in your pocket with out fear of scratching it on keys or coins. T9 space and alternative word keys are in a different place than the Nokias, takes a bit of getting used to.
At least with GSM if you don't need the small phone for a day you can just put your SIM back in your big clunky model anf hang it on your belt. A very nice "basic" phone if size and weight and tri-band
is important to you.

i had a t39 and have now bought a t66. Im extremely satisfied with the size of the t66 but the battery standby time is bit annoying....the t39 was better in that context ! otherwise the t66 is kool !

I use a phone to communicate, and this one does the job very well. It's probably not the best status symbol, and it's definitely not "fun". Battery life is not as awful as rumored; I charge it every two days. The bottons are tiny, but I'm not a small man (182cm/84kg) and I have no problems sending SMS. The only drawback for me is the lack of infrared port.

I think this phone has a really funky design and am about to buy it but I'm worried about the battery life. I need to find out how ling it lasts for different people so I can see if it's worth buying.

This mobile phone is the biggest joke in telephony since the days of Bell and Edison! You've got to have tiny fingers like an Oriental woman to use this joke.
I can't see any grown man being able to use this..........

I have just purchased the T66 and like it very much because of the size. However, upon trying to utilise the melodies, I find that it is practically impossible to do so. I would appreciate it, if u could E-mail me the melody format of the phone. such as how do u input LONG.
