How does it costs for 1(I'm in Indonesia)..
I think no 3G is ok(for me),coz in Indons packet data speed is still 2 low..Video Calls are lagggg n can't browse the internet except with a WiFi..So WiFi 802.b/g is good enough

Its good!! But it hasn't 3g and it's big!!
The very positive thing is its GPS, radio and slide-out qwerty key.
The ideal size is like HTC P4350 (109x59x17mm)

Great phone overall, a few niggles though the camera (2mp LOL) is useless, UK Sim cards PAYG don't work properly there is a work around I've found but unexpected flaw.

Keyboard is ok, Bluetooth GPS WIFI is all great, Calendar alarms can't be change to mp3 as I know of, and the alarms are to quite, software issues aside one of the best on the market. Battery is fantastic.

Hope it helps

got one last week. took it to china this week. last nite used skype to call LA fr the wireless in the hotel lobby.....COOL!! some repetitive clicking noise but with gsm switched off etc liveable. battery doesn't charge well with usb chargers other than the one that came with the phone. some bugs but overall no regrets. :)

This is the perfect PDA. But it lacks 3G, in fact... There are a lot of places (as here in the UK) where UMTS works fine. So this with 3G would be perfect.

So it has GSM/GPS/Camera/Keyboard/Windows. Its just enough for me. I'll buy one as soon as i can afford. It does alot more than i can, so i have no bad comments about it.

People say that the lack of 3g on this ppc-pe is a really big down size. I don´t see it that way. 3g networks have a very unstable link to the 3g phone, and I think that it makes 3g still unecessary right now, maybe in the future it will work better, but now....
So this phone has everything we need right now, and the features it got works pretty nice on the tecnology we have today

So when you say this phone lacks 3g capability...what do you mean? I live in the States so is this a 3g market? Do you mean video calling because no carriers offer that service here. I want this phone but what exactly are the drawbacks for not having 3g capability? If it's wi-fi capable then what does it matter the data speed?

This phone oh, multimedia device rules. I had the G500 previously but the M700 takes it to another level. With style and processing speed I would recommend this to Bill Gates. I got mine friday from http://www.omnicelusa.com/prod...o.asp?id=152 and haven't put it down yet.

I had the i-mate jam and then i bought the Eten M500 .It was the best PDA i ever had. Then i bought the I-mate jasjar (which is the most advance brick in the world) and now i will probably buy the Eten x500 or the m700. I never had any hardware problems whith the m500 , it was a very fast pda and it had a great screen. The only drawback was the plastic cover.

Why is it a rip-off? sure there's bugs in it, but HTC and others don't have a phone like this. They have a GPS phone but it as no keyboard.

Read the posting rules, no bashing, no trolling.

i advice anyone that's going to buy an Eten to think twice because they are all nothing but rip-offs! at first u'll be happy with it but it's later on that the problem will start so if u like your money then take my advice!

Have a look at the Eten users forum, it seems like hardware isn't a problem but the firmware is.
