Does anyone know how to fix the ear piece volume? Even at max volume I can hardly hear the other person.

I'm not sure cos I don't have Vista ... But maybe it is because of the Net Framework Version.

I purchased a Glofiish M700 from PC City in Spain two weeks ago and have now had to return it for a full refund. The main problem being that there is no possibility to change the language of the Operating System. I contacted Eten via email and received no reply. I also pointed out to them that I was using Windows Vista and that the software upgrade wasn't working they responded 2 weeks later telling me that I had to change Active Sync settings, even though I had stated that I was using Vista and therefore Windows Mobile Device Centre as opposed to Activesync.
Re the wireless LAN I also couldn't not get this to function...., it found the WLAN, connected then lost the WEP code and wouldn't connect again.

Hi,

Does anyone know how to set up the wifi connection? I was able to connect to the wireless router but it doesn't seem like it's using the wifi to download when using the Internet. Please advice.

i just recieved the phone today ordered it yesterday from omnicelusa.com for overnight shipping got it the next day thanks for the great service, loving the wifi and the speed of the internet.

BTW ... I am an actual user.
and on the 23rd of May 2007, I will upgrade my M700 to WM6.
It's already worth every penny now but after upgrading?
I would'nt have paid premium for other brands that just sell better cos they're more famous ... and you can't really compare till youve used a wider range of brands.

I've used Sybian phones before and theyre only good as a phone but really slow and poor in functionality,

HP ipaQ GPS enabled 6515 and 6965 is worse if you like to knock your technology about the primitive ways. HP6828 the screen will make your eyes very tired cos it's too small and when you want to input data, you will suffer. It's more a ladies type PDA Phone.

The best o2 is the XDA IIs but it's now outdated and all the newer models battery don't last long.

BenQ P50 and P51 is very solid and you can knock it about but battery life is very poor.
and my friends all commented that it is ugly so I gave them up.

This is the first time i'm using Eten, It's performance is most satisfying, I don't use any case and just put it in my back pants pocket which means I squash it wif my ass all day long and it don't break ... and I weigh 80KG ! The GPS better than both HP and BenQ although BenQ is also using Sirfstar.
The battery ? I've yet to experience any dissapointment by PDA standards of all those I have used before.
I strongly Recommend this and .....
NO ! I DO NOT WORK FOR ETEN !

Just my thots ... Ya shud take more good care of ya PDa ... Knocking any kinda technology about the primitive ways will getya a paperweight in the end ... so take care.

I bought the M700 hoping it could deliver on all its promises. Sure. For all of a day or two. Trouble with this phone is that the slightest knock renders the thing incapacitated with its plastic side buttons jamming down and freezing the software. Having then been forced to prise them up again higher than they should go to prevent more jamming, an additional knock (from car seat to car floor) finally did for the thing and my callers could no longer hear me and my bluetooth would only make, not receive calls properly.

The software was full of spelling errors and typo's, which should have been a sign of how clumsily it had been cobbled together.

Now I am left with an expensive paperweight only a couple of months after getting it.

Avoid at all costs unless you live in a cotton ball lined world.

Replaced with HTC P4350 - Much more robust and a better, simpler interface.

people if you haveNT already with the first Unofficial release then Upgrade to windows mobile 6 on the 23rd May VIA ETEN CORP WEBSITE!
im using my M700 and it is a whole new phone all bugs Fixed and it just seems better and faster! so go for it -

I am using this phone.

For Viewing Pdf use 3rd party Application like PocketXpdf v0.5.0 - it is freeware.

For Echo during Call, Upgrade the ROM to the latest Version.

I just got the phone. I put my tmobile sim card in but can't pick up the signal. Called tmobile tech support but can't seem to be of help. Does anyone know if this phone works with tmobile service in the US? Or do I have to upgrade to the latest firmware for it to work...Thanks. Stewart

I am quite satisfied with my M700. Never had any software crashes or hangups. You should check what softwares you install, and what softares create problems. I had problems with Pocket Mechanic and SPB Pocket Plus. I install SKTools and SPB Mobile shell, and things are working just fine.
