My questions is,why the battery becoming weak>and the other question about hi fi high speed is quickly disconnecting and cut needing setting specialy for address any sites pages>

i had this phone for 5months.. it seems ok and though it is a starter level, the price pays for it well...there are lot of ppc softwares to install..but install only the ones you need..
For calling, there seems to be a problem from its speaker, the other side cannot hear me very well, My voice is garbled by echoes...but using its headset while making a call seems to solve the problem just quite.
To make it in english, try to go : Start / Settings / System.... Look for an icon saying Multilingual Support(a blue circle icon with a sort of arabic writing on it in black & orange). Click on it and try to look for a toggle box saying "disable multilingual support" check the box then Restart.. It worked for me.. hope this will help..
For bluetooth Start / Settings / Connection / Beam..check the box saying Receive all Incoming Beams.. hope it will help..TC

Thanks for your comments. Infect I was planning to buy this product but now I am dropping the plan due to the above mention facts. Can u suggest some other PDA ofcourse should be economical.

Functionability = standard wm6 features
Performance = 1. Phone - I get many complaints that the other party cannot hear me clearly. It is akin to there being alot of static, although on my side the signal is full bar
2. Speed - It is underpowered with not enough memory. I was getting insufficient memory while doing things like taking pictures, even though i was saving to sdcard. I removed the spb desktop and that solved this aspect since this cleared up alot of memory.
3. Display = poor. the 64k colour and backlight is so poor that in broad day light, i can not at all read the display. I am not talking about not being able to read the small words, since i increased the text size, however the whole screen is black when in bright sunlight. I have to guess at what i am doing.
4. Camera = acceptable for a phone camera. Not great but not too poor either
5. GPS = is fine. I believe it has 20 channels so it picks up a signal pretty quickly. One problem is that if I forget to turn off the gps and I leave the car, battery power drops rapidly and I am without a phone until i can get it recharged.

I have had problems with the bluetooth as well, maybe its the older type of bluetooth that cannot transfer files?
Has anyone got it to send or except files?

i have this phone for almost a month... its my first time to use a pda.. so at first i was confused.. but im getting used to it... but there certain issues i dont like... i cant use my bluetooth... i dont know why... it can detect bluetooth.. but i cant transfer any files... i cant use radio in my country... and what is the flash all about.? i didnt know that... i still havent tried gps... my phone got wet.. but still its working.. hehehe...

Now Eten is Acer, I think you will not see Eten devices, but Acer devices... Acer is good, they have great models, but Sony Ericsson Idou is the best in Europe!!!

I personally bought this phone and the HTC touch.. personally i LOVE THIS PHONE.. though it does not have the touchFLO.. but it does have a substitute --> Spb Mobile Shell which is pretty good as well.
Apart from that the gps is very fast. Also the wifi is better than the Touch, The range of bluetooth for touch is more but the transfer speed of this is much much more.
Touch has the native capability to play Youtube videos, this phone doesn't have this feature though it can be added on by free software... an example of this software is kinoma freeplay.
Also i saw that Touch is very slow with large applications.. This phone has a better processer as well, though it has the same amount of RAM & ROM,, i think processor of this is 400 MHz and of Touch is 200MHz.
Overall --> I love Touch's TouchFLO and design (fullstop)
The rest are better in this phone.

Hi to all! I have this glofiish x610 phone for almost a month now. Two days ago, after i power it on, functions on the screen are not working. I keep on tapping on it, waiting, but still it dont open. I decided to press the reset function located on the left side of the phone as per indicated on the phone guide sheet(when functions not working, screen is freezing press the "reset").after that it goes okay, functions are working again..but the problem was the screen turned in to white color. is there any remedy for that? please help me guys. thanks!
