1- go to start
2- setting
3- you will see an icon called Phone click on it
4- u'll see a page u can change the tone from there.
if u dont get it jus text me bak here but anyway it's the easy way.

hi i am form eastern asia (NEPAL)

i bought secondhand eten m600 form my friend who brought it from dubai i figured out all other menus about it but couldn't figureout how to change the ring tones it just sets in silentvoice ring says incoming calls number

searched on the help says to go to phone tab option and change ring type but it didn't happen is it necessary to save all the contacts on the phone or sim contacts is ok

how do i change my incomming ringtones please help me i m very new to this type of technology

I buy a second hand M600 with rom 230, all phone function and pda is ok. But the sound of ear phone and speaker is to low. But I ply MP3 with TCMP, adjusting equalizer can make the sound 3x louder but do not adjust 60hz & 170hz, let it keep low or 0db. Adjusting the volume of acoustic room betwen speaker and upper rear cover will incrase 20% mp3 sound level without adjusting equalizer (I make the acoustic volume 50% smaler with rubber ring).

But compare with Treo 700P, my treo lost only 1 point "no wifi", else Treo 700P is faster and simpler never make me blow my head for to call and send sms, Document to Go is better then pocket word ad excel. But it ok M600 is Windoze.....reset buttom is importan part....

I bought this PDA for a reasonable price of 400 €, no complaint concerning the device speed running applications, the 400 MHz processor takes care of the job, now if you want to use it as a phone, forget it. Lot of noise heard from the other side, even buying a bluetooth headset will not take care of the job, eventually you will end up using a phone as a pda, so no point in considering the phone. Also if you are running a gps software and someone calls you, the system crashes so again don't consider this to use it as a phone.

I have had this phone for over a year, I bought it at the duty-free shop at the Dubai airport while I was drunk. They weren't impressed when I showed up at the airport. If I had been sober, I would probably not have bought it. I cannot get it to hook up to the internet, the battery dies way to quickly and you cannot hear anyone when making a phonecall..........plus it took me several weeks to figure out how to change it to english from arabic!
Otherwise a brilliant piece if you like Bubble-Breaker.

I would love to be able to get this thing working properly..........arrrgh!

I bought this phone a year and a half ago. It is for sure the worst piece of equipment i ahve ever bought. suport is even worst
- plastic is completely loos
- sound quality is extremely low. mic produces hell of the noise

i bought second ETEN M600 in Medan, Indonesia. But after 3 days the battery running out fast. I try to search the battery on local shop but they don't have it. I really want the new battery because i use my PDA frequently. May be somebody have information where should i buy the battery, especially from shop in Medan or Jakarta.

i had screen alignment trouble, but after i replace it's plastic protective screen to new and expensive one, all troubles stopped. it's been a year now i'm even using it now writing this.

i love my pocket pc but nowadays have real problem (touch pad doesnot work properly)

I need help. Bought my Eten M600 in Dubai, am in Nigeria. The GSM suddenly stopped working, and it gives the instruction that a wireless radio must be attached for the phone to be used. Any suggestions/advice, pl?

hi! i am from saudi arabia...i wish not to hurt anyone..but surely can't allow others to get disappointments i have had w/ my ETEN m600..always have to re-align my screen..calls sounds terribly low can,t use in crowded-noisy places...picture very unsatisfactory, video always hangs-up..lots of things sub-par compared to other PDA's around...BE WARNED...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY..

I would say it's a nice phone if I can get the screen to work properly. Every time I try to enter something on the phone or make a call using touch pad, I have to align the screen first. I sent and email to tech support, but never heard back. I can't log onto ETEN's support site either. I spent US$560 for this phone, and I regret buying this. Speaking from my experience, you should think twice about buying an ETEN.

This is a very good phone, I've been using it for 1.5 yrs already, don't have much problems occurred. Stable than others PDA phone after couples of firmware updated. Only things want to add to this phone is HSDPA and a location for the phone strips. I won't change the phone unless I can have other better phone, ie. Goldfish X800

I bought this product 2 years ago. Just experienced touch sreen problem. Replacement in Indonesia is very costly.
