Ok I'm getting a new phone, but have trouble choosing between LG KU990 and Nokia 6500 slide.
Here are the pros and cons of these phones:
LG KU990 Viewty
Pros
-5 Megapixel camera
-Cheaper than Nokia 6500 slide.
-Nice features.
-Looks flashy
Cons
-Touch screen makes it harder to type without looking
-Rather big
-Looks fragile.
Nokia 6500 slide
Pros
-Buttons so it is easier to type/sms without looking.
-Nice design.
-Looks sturdy.
-Nokia are known for making quality phones.
-Compact.
-Easier to plug in your headphones and listen to music.
Cons
-Costs more than LG KU990 Viewty.
-3.2 megapixel camera which is less than LG KU990's 5MP
-Heavier than LG KU990
I'm still in High School so people might find it weird holding a touchscreen phone instead of a phone with only buttons. And The LG is harder to hide under the table and harder to SMS without looking while you're SMSing someone while the teacher is talking.
The Nokia 6500 slide is perfect at highschool, but I can't resist the 5 Megapixel camera!!
Please Help me choose!

the LG 5mp camera isnt really too big a deal. There's practically no visible difference between a 5mp camera and a 2mp camera (IF both has same quality sensors) unless you print the picture to about the size of a bond paper. For a regular 4R picture print there's hardly a difference.
Also, the 6500 slide has one of the best 3.2mp shooters out there, beating in quality even some of the available 5mp cameras. Sensor quality is awesome for a phone so cheap (then again its a 2 year old model, so it is cheap). Also, LG hasnt really been known for quality cameras. Sure the pixel count is bigger, but whats the point of having more pixels when your camera sensor isnt up to the task and still gets beat by the lesser mp shooters? Case in point, the 3.2mp camera on the 6500 takes better quality pictures than the 5mp camera on the n79.

I have to disagree with the above post, I have owned both phones and still continue to blown away by the quality of the camera on the viewty. 5mp is not a lot these days but providing you use the correct ISO setting and light mode the results are outstanding.
Another must have feature is the 120fps video recording. It doesn't record in a very high quality but the results are fantastic.
The phone itself is a joy to use and in the 2 years I had it not once did crash, freeze or breakdown.
The only downside is the max memory card size limit (4gb).
