kudos to sony ericsson for bringing out a very good and feature packed camera phone but still i expect many to buy the N90 for the features and the brand name.in my opinion,if i had to get a mobile with a very good camera i'd go for the N90.Smile

Good day to GSM Arena.

I'm not a pro photographer. But learning photography for almost 1.5 years now and has provided me with additional knowledge and technical matters about images taken by analog and digital cameras.

My only question is, why are all the EXIF information omitted or removed from the pictures? In my opinion, this is not the appropriate way of judging images. In general, we have to see the image EXIF information so that we can clearly see the settings used during the time the pictures were taken.

Most users are not aware of this information. i'm not underestimating them but i'm one of them before.

To understand and clarify the comparisons, we would like to see the following information which are embeded in the EXIF of the pictures for correct judging:

0. Exposure Mode
1. Aperture value
2. Shutter speed
3. ISO level
4. EV values
5. Focal length and
6. Camera make/model

I do hope you understand what we photo enthusiast are requesting. I say, at this moment, we are not able to judge them without the information we requrie... It's quite unfair to judge something wihtout their proper identities.

Thank you very much.

Myself was just hesitating if to buy one of these phones . Finally i bought the w800 cause i had a s700i before what was stolen. My personal experiance is that this phone is a little too small to my taste and though the photos are good and phone looks cool i am going to give it as a present to my father and going to buy the N90.

WHy ? Because for me video is more important , and the N90 also can handle word documents , faxes , and basically has the symbian what gives you more options in using. N90 for me is a more special phone and the w800 is more practical . W800 does not look that cool though the colours are nice but this is not that different from Motorola E398 e.g. or many other phones .
I will get back to you when i will have the N90 and then try out personally. W800 should have a 5 megapixel cam like T1 sony camrea . 2mp is not good in any case so the video is more important though mpoeg4 is done by sonyerics. p910 as well .

New phones to the market to have more fun for us.

Certainly W800i's pictures are better than the "Carl Zeiss" N90....
A lacking in W800i is it does'nt have 3G!
Also N90 is much pricy than W800i !!!

After much tests and comparisons, good to hear that SE is still ahead of Nokia.

Nokia does not know how to make mobile phones and mobile phones with cameras as good as SE.

Nokia only knows how to advertise and publisize their (not the best) product.

It works but ppl later repent on buying a nokia.
SE has the tech knowhow. SE is the best, be it this mobile or any other. In terms of tech and quality I always go with SE.

U GUYS ARE TELLING ME THE W800'S CANERA IS BETTER?????

IF I'LL GIVE POINTS BY MYSELF FOR THE BEST CAMERA'S TAKEN PICS BETWEEN THOSE 2 IT WILL BE LIKE THIS:

N90- 7
W800- 8

AND FOR THE BEST CANERA'S VIDEO BETWEEN THOSE 2 IT WILL BE LIKE THIS:

N90- 8
W800- 1

SO U KNOW WHAT? I THINK I'LL GIVE UP FOR THAT 1 PNT (FOR THE W800) AND TAKE THE N90.. IS THERE A QUESTION ABOUT IT????

ill still go fr the w800. and lets admit it, 176*144 vids arent that bad when viewed and the w800's screen, even though youll most likely be transfering pics to your pc.

since i don't like to record videos much, for me, W800i/K750i is ways better than N90. N90's pics are so blurry, the color reproduction is not good either, and didn't manage macro well.. IT'S BLURRY! Shocked

after usin my w800 for a few days i can tell you the difference better . i have a nokia communicator 9500 and i chose w80 asa second phoen with my other number.

So i think the w800 is a very practical phone in everyday life. SO if you dont need word documents , faxes, mail attachments with word etc..and do not do videos to make memories that much i would go with the w800. Especially if you wanna listen to music a lot with your phone .

But if this will be your only phone and you wanna organize your life with it , and have a clever companion with trustable functioning i would go with the N90, perhaps waiting a little bit until it gets cheaper. The pics are little little worse in some situations but phone photos are not digital camera photos anyway .

and even the photos are bette r with w800 the screen of the phone is too small and not that good quality, and aaaas with most se phones if you use it a lot it hirts your eyes . the N90 has much better and less hurting sreen. So it depends on your needs . these are the best two phones out in the market nooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww. Have a nice day , cya.

The pictures of N90 and w800i hav minor differences. It is not the case that w800i has many major differences.
w800i doesn't ends the imaging. Both phone hav CMOS censors. So wait for a better CCD sensor.
In both phones u can adjust the contrast and brightness for match of ur taste. These images capture in auto mode.
Now for me n90 is a best deal. It changes the movie recording resolution up to CIF at 15 frames per second in mp4 format. Isn't that a big change. And w800i has same old QCIF movie recording in 3gp format.
Also n90 is 3g and edge enable phone.
w800i has the advantage of music feature and u can say camera taken pictures over n90. In comparison n90 has much better screen with 20x digitall zoom and a series60 device.

Ohhh.. so this is an auto focus??
that's explaines the N90's very "BLURY" photos..

i guess u can get MUCH better pics if u'll have the option to change the bright, focus and colors properties to get the most quality pic in a diffarent backgrounds and stuff... which u have in the N90 because of it being a PHONE- CAMERA..

hh.. i started thinking this is a failure!
exept the fact it has beaten by the SE W800's camera, but because of the fact that this is a NOKIA product !

i must say im now much happyer(is that how write it down??) then that moment i saw those example pics..
