It will ask you to register your phone and after that you can download the GPS update software then plug in yur mobile phone and update the GPS software.

Yes it is possible to install any GPS software u like as long as its for windows 6.x.x

i have tried tomtom, mapking, and papagoX3

very nice phone~ highly recommended

Pros: Excellent phone, decent battery for the smartphone, ***** display, smooth operation due to good processor and ram, ***** hardware, Good Garmin map and you can have map my India also which works well, MS office 2010 support(upgradeable for free), Wireless tethering - Use your phone as wireless router (Great I love this feature)I feel 6.5.1 is the best even compared to Windows 7. Finish is cool ultra smooth. Many good things about windows software. This is my 3rd ASUS phone (P750, P835 and now this)

Cons: Hardly anything, No front camera, same old boring home screen and my packages does not come with car stand (?????????. Asus are you listening. I want Asus to use Metal like few earlier models and make articulate design.I am at:vsc@live.in for only positive issues and technology sharing.
