got the T600 a couple of days ago, amazing phone. vga resolution on a 2.6 inch dispaly is fantastic. the TV is great, watched chel play liv the other day. picture quality was great. wifi works like a charm. diff ways of txt input available, all of them are very fast.
still gettin used to rest of the features.
only downside i see is 64mb ram which is jus barely sufficient. and the battery life aint the best either, practically charge it everyday.

Hi ,I am new with t600. I have phone with Italian official 6.0 rom. I upgrade it to GSmart-t600-I-v3.50-MyBestPDA rom because i need to change to English language. Now I don't have any tv applications or anything for tv. I also install t600-orig-SD-driver but nothing. Please help. I just need this phone on English with tv, nothing more... Thanks

Thats initially what i was saying to the person earlier..Reception at terminal 5 maybe strong but where i am in uk we struggle as yet to get reception with a new rooftop aerial etc so down in the street their would be no chance of getting a picture on g600..i was one who bought the lobster 700tv and when it worked it was ok but continually updating licence and getting reception was maddening to say the least..
One good thing to say to that person earlier and its in his favour is if dvb-t works in good reception and by 2012 the freeview reception is brilliant in 98% of country the uk will not have to build a seperate dvb-h system,,but,,the freeview is directional so you would have to point your mobile at the transmitter and also at street level i cannot see it working altho i would still not rule it out..
With xperia the only tele is via 3g and thats dodgy to say the least..I am definatly for mobile tv 100% and always have been so roll on 2012 for our olympics in london..When and if tv comes fully to the mobile will we see whats happening at moment with lots cut out due to copyrights etc,,,who knows but tv on the xperia would look good with that diplay but by 2012 we do not know what handsets will be out???????

its out in germany in few weeks and coming to uk in late june but it quite expensive,,aparently play.com has pre-order for £599

the problem with gigabyte is that they are taking too long for launching a devise, so they loose market. the t600 was pressented one year ago and still not launch for europe.
so i think nokia will be surpraising us with
better models with tv in a few months adn then the t600 will become old, as it is getting old already

no english version yet,check on their web site, there´s only chinesse and rusian version,english version maybe in 2 months but that´s too late, new things better ones will be showed in the 3gsmcongress.

Wow, it seems evrybodys T600 has some kind of problem. Mine included. the problem I have is when it went into standby mode, sometimes it cannot be waken. I have also notice the white screen problem. Wifi is yet another problem, if the phone freeze while the wifi mode is on, after you take the battery out and turn the phone on again, the wifi will forever shown as on but there is no network detected. It is like somhow the wifi have been disabled. very strange.
This phone is such a crap.

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM GIGABYTE.
Just got my t600 back. At first the screen did not shows anything after standby, so I send it back for repare. and now after the service been done, the touch screen wont respond to touch at all.
There is no quality control at all at Gigabyte appearantly. They dont even bother to check if the device works ok before send it back to me.

No, Mik. the problem you descripe is not only happen to you. Mine has the smae problem- what I call the white screen symdrom upon wakenning from standby mode. Also the weak signals, low valume. I have sent mine back to Taiwan to repair, it's said there is a fault in the mother board. You should do the same, so they will know the problem is not a isolated case. And finally to clearfy, the DVB-T and DAB does work in the UK. At least in some parts of London, such as in Pushy park. 3 weeks ago my car broke down in the park while I was waittinf for aa to come, I turn the dvb-t on and to my surprise I finally got the signle and pick up about 20 something channels most of which are dab tho.
One last thing, at the moment the device is only come with chinese rom, I ask the customer service to change mine t600 to english rom while they fix it. and the answer I got is, the english rom is still in testing stage and wont be available till november.

First of all, the phone itself looks very good and the display is just awsome!! but there are few problems that pissed me off. Sometimes when other party call you, the connection goes through, but my T600 just doesnt respond or without any incoming call identifications. It works fine after restarting. This is not frequent, but it happens every couple of days. I guess i'm the only one who has this problem.
Second, the battery life is a bit concerning, but since Canada has no DVB the battery is actually just fine for me. And at last the phone connections to phone network seems to be quite weak when compared to my previous phone. Overall, this is a very nice looking phone but the price is a bit too high.
