Google Drive's iOS app has received an update, bumping it to version 4.4 and bringing some new features including 3D Touch and notifications for new files.
The update brings along support for the 3D Touch feature, allowing users of Apple's newest phones - the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus - to access a couple of options by pushing with more pressure on the app's icon. These options include 'Upload Photos' and 'Search'.
In addition, the updated app now notifies you whenever someone shares a new file with you. Also, now you can find files in Drive from iOS Search, as well as open them directly from within search results. Finally, the app now also supports Split View and Slide Over multitasking on iPad and iPad Pro.
