> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-08-16 20:03 from tUqsPara bloquear el telefono necesita ingresar a inicio, configuracion escoger la opcion de segurida, una vez ahi debe de escoger una contraseņa para cuando el aparato la pida, la introduzca, y listo. Puede escoger el tiempo que desea este sin bloquear cuando no esta siemdo utilizado.

Mi comentario es un poco acerca del funcionamiento del aparato, pues soy desafortunadamente un cliente que a mas de aņo y medio de hacer realizado la queja en cuanto al MAL FUNCIONAMIENTO de mi ipaq 500 series voice messenger,(que se que es el mismo iPAQ 514) al dia de hoy luego de muchos intentos con funcionarios de HP, nunca me resolvieron la molestia, ni HP ni la agencia donde la compre, y luego de muchas llamadas y la queja y descontento por el mal funcionamiento, se genero un reporte el;0807241335 donde se detalla que no funciiona el auricular, es decir cuando realizaba una llamada no entendia lo que escuchaba, el altavos practicamente NUNCA funciono, y me sugerian que realizara pruebas con mi telefono mobil, que NO dieron resultados, cosa que intente durante muchas veces sin exito alguno, les pedi me cambiaran el aparato, pues ya a un amigo que recomendo el mobil se lo habian cambiado ya, por situaciones similares al mio, pero en mi caso LA VERDAD NUNCA, SI NUNCA TUVE EXITO.
Y hoy dia lo tengo unicamente para ver y tomar fotos, enviar sms, la verdad si de haber sabido que HP, NUNCA IBAN A HACERSE RESPONSABLES CON SU MARCA, ni alla y menos aca en Costa Rica, NUNCA habria comprado algo que NUNCA reunia las especificaciones que decian tener en el aparato que YO COMPRE.
Me gustaria me escriba alguien responsable de la marca HP, para que en verdad me solucionen el problema que hasta hoy nadie de HP quiere resolver, y lo que me dicen ahora es que la garantia esta vencida, CLARO AHORA SI, mas cuando me comunique habia pasado solamente entre tres y cuatro meses...ilogico que un aparato de tanta promocion DURE TAN POCO.

Seņores compradores en el mercado existen miles de telefonos disponibles, y cientos de marcas, NO COMENTAN LOS MISMOS HORRORES QUE YO.
La verdad es que espero una pronta respuesta de HP, y asi tambien comprobar que esta pagina esta para el funcionamiento que fue creada, al inicio decia que escribieramos sin lenguaje grocero, MAS YO SOLAMENTE HE DICHO LA VERDAD.
Por favor no se tarden en leerlo.

if anybody is having problems like the phone turning off by itself, or the wifi not connecting, then simply hard reset the phone, it should fix these problems. To hard reset the phone first power down the phone by holding the red button, then hold the middle square button as you power on the phone by holding the red button, then follow the on screen instructions.

Phone is quite slow and sometimes is switching off by itself. Battery life makes you wish more. And if you had bought it go to hp website to download program which will solve your battery problem.
Overall it's not bad but could be better.

Never buy this phone.....I've been using this for past 1.5 yrs, had enough trouble with this device like Poor battery backup, Booting problems, Keypad problems and many more.
No mobile retailer even wants to exchange this phone for a new one!

I have been using this phone from the last 1 yr....it was functioning fantastically but suddenly from the last few weeks it has started giving a weird problem...
It is getting switched off on its own .... sometime it doesn't get switched on for sometime but then after 2-3 tries it gets again switched on.
Can anybody plz suggest the problem in case u have also faced similar problem. Is something wrong with the software ?? Do i need to get the Windows reloaded again ??
Plz help me .... it is troubling me a lot. If there is no solution then i have to think abt buying some other phone.

Hi, speack inglish so a litlle, i have ipaq 512 (latin version) 2 years a go. but i canīt use mms and gprs or wap. help me please., is a great phone, very complete, nice, function of wifi is very good, i love my smarthphone , but think change for hp data messenger.

I am having battery problems, not getting 8hr usage. Recently it shuts down I thought it wanted charging but it has not been up since. Please suggest what might be the problem. it never fell.
