I want to use the EDGE capability for phone as a modem. Must my service provider spesfically support EDGE? Must this spesifically be enabled by the service provider?

yes you can use the 16gb card end install the win 6.1 to your phone

Hi all i am using iPAQ-512, i am using a 8GB Kingston card in this and want to knw if i can use a 16GB card and also want to know if i can istall Win 6.1 or Win 6 OS on this phone

hey there this phone is great i got i yesterday the only 2 problems i find with it is that vids on youtube are giving me trouble it tells me eror is there anything i can do pls help and the other problem is that the theme is really boring can i download or give it a software upgrade pls help thanks peps

ipaq accessories are not availble freely in market(power adapter and battery) if we contatct hp service provider - call hp customer care, and called hpcc they said call isp.

we always pillar to pillar. back to square. zero result. pls do the needfull.

If your phone hangs or goes slowly u probably have virus or some program drains your battery. I suggest to make master reset after u save all data inside external memory card ( there are programs to restore all contacts + sms with 1 click ) To make master reset , turn off your phone , keep pressing the square central button and turn the phone ON at the same time....it will ask you ..Master reset ....click yes ...and your phone is formatted and behaves like u just bought it ,hopefully with no virus in it.

My 514 overclocked and jamed after installin SNES Emulator.It has refused to boot beyond d boot logo screen.i tried hard resetin it,i downoaded a newer version OS tried reflashin it but it still refused!it dosent charge,cant turn it off witout removin d batteries. ITS JAMMED STUCK! i need an experience help please.......

**2 is the Asian version.
**4 is for the US (or is it European?) version.

Same for the iPaq 61* and 91* phone too.
The Asian version have Chinese text support, while European version has the European major countries' language interface.

Some people don't understand the limitations of this HP iPAQ 514. That's why it's called Smartphone because of its value and economical price. So don't expect too much out from this phone. I have this one also but I don't mind about some of its shortcomings because I didn't spent that much on this.

New document can be made with an application. Search for Modaco DoNew.

For Youtube and MP4, there are 3rd party applications you could install to play them. Make sure it's made for non-touch screen device though.

As for text message storage, I think all smartphones have virtually unlimited text message storage as far as the memory allows.
