The photo is actually outdated, unless they pan on bringing out a different version of this phone. The newer version looks a little more grwon up and it resembles the Blackberry Curve. Its a shiney Piano Black instead of the matte rubberized finish shown here. It also appears to have a center thumb wheel like the curve.

> In reply to JL @ 2008-04-16 03:27 from RbqiI am in the same situation. I currently own the HP HW6515, I love this phone but I've had it for years now and It's time to upgrade. The 910C seems to be the upgrade since the only upgrade to the 6515 is WiFi... size is the same and they dropped one of the SD slots. I hope I don't miss the larger screen too much.

So much talk about this device.
There is a device Fujitsu-Siemens T830 on the market for 2 years now, that is half the price and does everything the IPAQ 910 does.Ok the 3G is slower, so what? But its a proven, stable device without the problems of new bugggy devices.

Guys the SE P1i is still a very nice phone. The only think I could admire on this HP phone is the proccesor, but the SE P1i isn't slow, I think is a nice option for the guy who has 6000 contacts.

i was able to talk to a support staff from HP and the staff said that the reason why they could not release the phone is that HP is having connection problems with the unit's 3G.

When is this really coming out? I am afraid its features may be outdated already when it comes out. It's been too long.

Initially I have been very keen in owning a HP 900 (the no-camera version of 910). I reckon that business users do not need camera anyways.
Just to let you noe, I watch one of the videos when the HP 910 was announced and one of the staff said that it was going to be on the market 90 days after announcement. The announcement was on Sep 07. Well done HP. that's only 5 months overdue.
For those of you interested in this mobile, may i suggest samsung i780? much better in spec. the only disadv are prob hsdpa 3.6 instead of 7.2 and less talk time.
happy decision-making.

I also wait patiently for the Ipaq 900 series. However, the ASUS mentioned above is not for me :-). No HSPDA makes it far less interesting if you live in a country where “turbo 3G” is available (and I do). Lack of GPS does not help either.

I am beginning to think HP is not going to release this phone at all. There is a very similar looking and spec phone from ASUS, if you really wish to get this phone, but don't mind the brand. http://www.gsmarena.com/asus_m530w-2096.php
or try this...
http://www.gsmarena.com/asus_p750-2170.php
Bottomline, HP screwed up big time on this phone with the release date and all...

th aim of having a pda is to replace a laptop 4 short periods of time. BUT with such a small screen its no good replace. such a small creen 4 a pda. viewing a site on this would be like crazy. typing a doc would be suicide and trying to read the small letters will cause you permanent eye damage

With 520 MHz speed. 1840 mah battery, with qwerty keys on the body, no sliding, no clasping, for a heavy telephone user like me( I handle 6000 tel numbers)I think hp 910c will be the best in the world of this kind. I m using blacberry, palm windows and symbian, imate, nokia e90,e61i, motorola Q9h, samsung 610, htc touch dual, not a single one is perfect. The specs of 910c looks it will satisfy me. I m waiting for the availibility.Dr. Arif.KSA

Apart from the screen, the phone seems to have good features. Will HP expedite the process of launching such good products in the market???

The advanced PDA as it uses windows OS, which we get addicted vary easily.
The worst hp technology
No question, its a real waist of money. Once you use this hp product, you will never buy any other hp product. Worst in terms of technology, service, and response.
