I just got this phone yesterday. The text messaging is awesome. I love the gps. Only thing about it that I dont like so far is the lack of video playback in windows media player. It does not work with Amazon videos, YouTube videos, or any flash based videos at all.

> In reply to JarooS @ 2008-08-19 20:52 from mNX4 - click to readWell, a-gps is assisted gps while gps is the normal one. Basically, A-GPS helps you find satellites faster and it's easier but you'll need a connection for that. Like 3G or GPRS.

I like the phone but it took me about a week to get used to the smaller screen. It runs a bit slower than I would prefer, and I feel it lost some of the fundtionality of the 6900 series. Retrieving photos from MMS is a long and drawn out process. Searching through old text messages is a pain in the a$$ due to the texting format. The piano black keyboard gets a little slippery. It doesn't come with a clutch holster, which I found odd.I dont think it needs the thumb wheel AND the navigation pad. The windows media player is not very user friendly, it drops your playlist everytime the phone turns off. The speaker phone function is a little weak, can hardly hear it. I love the WiFi, it's the sh!t. GPS is cool. Camera is way better than the 6900.

A lot of my angst comes from having the 6915 for so long and expecting the 910 to be an upgrade to it, when in fact, I feel that it is more of a lateral move. It looks beeter and is smaller, but it doesn't really perform all that much better. I would have loved if they would have kept the screen size, and also the dual SD card slots, but made the whole thing smaller.

All in all, I do like the phone. Scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 7.

Listen up!
... This is the best freakin phone out right now if you like touchscreen, tri-band 3G, global GSM, GPS, build quality, simplicity, nice design, Windows Pro, and QWERTY! And it's unlocked to use anywhere in the world.

People are complaining of low speaker volume... puhleeeeease!

I really think it's a shame for HP to be in the phone market. Better focus its strategy in anything else where they decide to be competitive..!!!
