Guys, Its a good, fancy, costly high end phone. But once it decides to oney the law of gravity(fall), it turns into a nice pile of plastice glass and metal scrap. Its very sensitive. Mine fell down and the touch screen properties vanished, paralysing all the entire phone functions.

i've had this phone for almost a year. someone gave it to me as a gift. during the first few months that i was using it, performance was really ok.then after i dropped it, i can no longer restart or open the phone. the downside of this phone is that there are only a few establishments that knows how to fix it. i brought the phone to HP office in Makati and they said that they will replace my phone in exchange of php 44,000???!! well, they did not honor the warranty since it was bought in the states.. too bad. ive only used it for awhile.and also, the camera sucks!vry low quality. it cant take pictures at night.the keypads are also hard to press. they hurt my fingers. what i only like in this phone is that i can surf the net in wi-fi hotspots.anyways, im based here in davao.

> In reply to eddie @ 2007-01-20 22:48 from N9%uEddie, Couldn't help noticing your mention of "Manila". I have a 6965 and am in Cebu using Globe prepaid. Have you been able to connect through GPRS and surf the internet? I cannot and so far no success with customer support from Globe and HP. Thanks.

I had this phone for two months and gave it good use... until it just gave up the ghost and died. HP don't want to know (I was offered a standard 380 euro fix... I paid 170 euro for it with a warrantee). I did enjoy it but it would hang frequently. Three times it lost all data (when battery ran out whilst on standby). When using the GPS for 20 minutes or more the screen would fade out and it would need a hard reset and a 20 minute reset. It is to chunky for the pocket... I purchased a leather case but it would still turn on with a bump in the bag (locking the keyboard is difficult). Don't take in the rain or where it is humid. I have had several HP PDAs but I wouldn't recommend HPs service. Caveat Emptor

Well just to let you all know I purchased HP6965 a year and half back and never had any issue while using it. The price was high and I gave a second thought of whether to purchase this or not but I think I got Value for Money.
i have been using all the features and feel I would buy HP next time too....

For people in Brazil this is very important. This phone does not allow you to edit the numbers of received calls. So if itīs a long distance call, you are not able to insert the operator code to call back.

I intent to buy one of this "gadgets" ... but I have one supplementary question: Did HP 6915 support a mini SD card of 4 Gb ??? Or whitch is the maximum value of the SD card supported by the this PDA.

Thank you !

I've just bought mine on ebay and waiting for it's arrival. I have a question regarding GPS. I currently have gps on my Nokia smartphone. Whenever I want to use gps (via a bluetooth gps module) it has to access the network from time to time to download something which in turn costs me an arm and a leg. My carrier charges ridiculous rates (Fido). Is it the same on this phone? Does it need network access when using the gps. I see that people here say that the used it on the airplane. I cant see how this would be possible if this phone also neede network access to use the gps.

I had a basic HP model and somebody in Barcelona stole it in my mid-2007, together with my Samsung D600. Came back home and immediately bought this HP to replace both devices. I battled to get myself not to use the stylus and use the keyboard. One you can change from num to alpha, etc things go smoothly. It hung up once and all I did was to put it in the cradle and run a sync. All was well after that. I am 100% happy with this purchase and will definitely buy this HP again.

I've also had this phone for several months and once you learn what the HP likes it rewards you . I agree with those on this board that you almost require a tech savvy nature to run these type of PDA. Downloading necessary fixes, shutting down programs running in the background and from time to time resetting the phone on around 3 times a week to clear the RAM(working memory). Accompanied with TomTom and many other rich programs (Dictionary, My Sport Training, Astronomy Stars, etc.) one quickly sees why Pocket PC is the new way to go. So a little patience and a little know how makes almost any phone a friendly phone. Yes, even this one!

one of the best smartphones ever...too bad that HP is not offering support, and too bad that is HP branded, and is made by HTC.It has some software bugs, but it's ok.I like gps snd wifi, but I don't like short battery life.
