I bought a Desire 5 months ago and I am very disappointed, because, my phone started to reboot itself when i was on internet or if i was writing a sms and a call comes, the Desire just rebooted itself. So that, my recommendation is NOT to buy this model.

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2010Couldn't say, I use it as a business phone and don't play games on it.Please tell me is this phone good considering I'm also looking for a phone to use it for business. And how much does your battery last?
Anonymous, 17 Nov 2010Battery life can be improved with a bit of thought and careful tweakingYou could always root and underclock
nm, 16 Nov 2010State if desire can run games supported by desire hd? Please please reply...Couldn't say, I use it as a business phone and don't play games on it.
The desire boasts everything in the right place but beware of the battery life android is power hungry and the battery will last less than two days with minimal use any more and you may be charging daily or more. very disappointing for a device in its class
Well,is a nice phone but reboot is a main problem using only for 2 month ,Let me know what to do??????????????
im very sad about.
I have a Desire and my brother bougth an N8, Like they say the desire is a little faster but the Hardware on the N8 is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better makes my HTC looks cheap also i noticed the Audio Quality on the Nokia is awesome compared to my desire the camera overall is awesome the only thing is the OS i like Android but Symbian is more powerful if you know how to use it im going to steal the n8 to play with it and i think im moving to the nokia is just superb hardware vs a cool eye candy OS that really is not that important since my bros can even hook to the plasma vi Hdmi and has fm transmiter and a lot of goodies that have me thinking, also he has signal on the elevator and i dont!! :/
How do u guys update android software? And I'm confused which phone to buy, either desire hd or desire
DesireX, 16 Nov 2010What Android version are you using?I am using 2.2
Battery is very weak on this phone. I fully charged it and then played games on it for about 30-45mins and afterwards I had 55% battery left!
Any tips would be appreciated.
What drains the battery the most? I don't have my emails coming coming through automatically. My weather updates every 3hours.
Even with the poor battery this is still my favourite phone compared to the N8 and all other phones I have owned and used.
