Anonymous, 12 Jul 2010How is audio and video playback quality of HTC Desire???? The audio playback is fine. For the best quality, get proper audio files (for example, MP3 320kbps) and good headphones (for example, Sennheiser).
The video quality is great, but you should not watch it under sunlight. The amoled screen is not doing well under the sun.
There are a number of video players available in the Market if you want to try 3rd party players.

In addition, you can use many media streaming applications from the Market to stream TV Channels (for example, CNN).
Even using the browser you can stream video feeds. For extra Flash support, you can try Skyfire browser.

Google for some battery saving tips, for example don't use live wallpapers.
If the phone lasts more than a day, then it's OK.

Does anyone checked the battery life against spec. My desire is far from that. The android system "drain" 96% of the battery. Is this normal? Thanks
