The phone is very impressive. ..but i cant seem to figure out how to stop some applications whilst running , such as the music player. the screen only displays a pause icon and returning to the home screen does not stop the music playing. I have only been able to stop it by powering the phone Off..this is also true with some email applications...Any ideas !!

Anonymous, 01 Jul 2010Hi, i wonder how the typing of this phone? is it accurate and sensitive? how the battery li... moreGreat touch features happy with system keyboard. still custumisable. battery not bad. need to close applications with the help of third party Apps which is free to download from the market. picture clarity and perfomance cant compare........amazing....
goit it week before first time with android but really rocks . thanks to htc making such good phones wich worth buying compare to iphone 4 double priced dumb thing wich cant make calls
I have my own desire and only for 30 euros this is amazing!!!! just better than iPhone!! Much ,much better!!!
Having purchased the HTC Desire last week I have now had time to realy 'drive' this baby and all i can saw is WOW!
The first impression one gets is the screen - no question its the best out there right now. I have to be honest - I have yet to see the iPhone 4. The processor is fast and opening applications is a pleasure. Mailsetup a sync and cannot be easier. Navigating though the menues and setting up personalization options on the phone is simple enough that I could do this with no manual (as non came with the phone). I have never used a phone with Andriod and I bought this as a stop gap between my iphone 3g and the 4 which I WAS going to buy. No more! HTD DESIRE is without a doubt the best phone I have used so far and I have had many. The only issue, if I can call it that, is the battery life. Like any phone that uses a lot of data connectivity and this one does, it sucks juice. But still 30-40% better battery perfoamnce than my iPhone so I am happy. One day Utopia will be reached in battery performance - hopefully in my life time..
i wonder how the typing of this phone? is it accurate and sensitive? how the battery life for this phone?
what about android 3 ( gingerbread)? this device support the prereq. spec., will HTC Desire be upgraded to gingerbread?
Hey, I was wondering about whether or not the screen is very scratch proof.
i prefer no screen protector, but dont know if the screen will scratch.
seems like an awsome phone. How long do you think till this phone will be outdated. things have come along way since the first coloured phone and they improved fast but things seem to be slowing down. Will this phone still be a wow thing in a couple of years like the iphone lasted or be outdated tomorrow. i hope not
